I thought I would post my World Heavyweight Championship match from my recent Royal Rumble PPV in my BTB. It is from the other site and I know quite a few of you have seen it and or read it before but I am very fond of this match and I think it would easily be in the top five best matches I have ever done besides the Rumble itself of that very night.

"One of a kind plays" And Rob Van dam makes his way down to the ring he gets a great crowd reaction.

JR: Here comes the man that teamed up to John Cena last week on WAW.
King: But there won't be any teaming up tonight.
JR: That's exactly right King…Every man for themselves.

"Medal" hits and Kurt Angle the former champion of WAW comes down to the ring he gets lots of crowd heat.

King: Here comes the former champion my man Kurt Angle.
JR: Olympic Gold medalist Kurt Angle lost his title to John Cena at the last PPV Event.

"My Time is Now" Hits and John Cena comes down to the ring though slowly as he soaks in the standing ovation. John Cena gives his shirt and cap to a little kid to is wearing Cena "Chain Gang" Wrist bands.

JR: And here comes the Champion.
King: Hopefully not for long.
JR: You never know because so far tonight the Hardcore Championship, the Intercontinental Championship and the Tag Team Championships have been defended sucsessfully here tonight.
King: Yea well Kurt Angle is going to be putting an end to that.

MATCH – 5 WAW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
John Cena © vs. Kurt Angle vs. Rob Van Dam

John Cena and RVD and Kurt Angle each have their own corner of the ring to stand on, Rob Van Dam stands in his corner and does to both John Cena and Kurt Angle taunts as he stands there and points at himself doing the R…..V…..D. The crowd go a long with it as well, Kut Angle does a taunt or two and then John Cena does the "You can't see me" to everyone. Kurt Angle, John Cena and RVD all go into the middle of the ring, John Cena and RVD lock up. Kurt Angle smiles and takes a step or two back into the corner and watches them two go at it. Cena and RVD throw rights and lefts and then John Cena throws RVD at the ropes, RVD reverses it and throws John Cena at the ropes. While he is running to the ropes RVD leans forward bending over. John Cena puts the brakes on and then while RVD is leaning forward Kurt Angle comes up behind him and wraps his arms around his chest and goes for a german suplex on RVD. At this time Cena had stood in the corner against the turnbuckles and watched them go at it. RVD landed on his feet behind Kurt Angle. RVD as Kurt Angle turns around kicks him in the gut and then John Cena runs at Kurt after he was leaning forward once being kicked in the gut and then hit a buldog on him in the middle of the ring. John Cena begins to kick Kurt Angle while he is on his stomach as RVD stands in the corner and takes it easy a few seconds. John Cena grabs Kurt Angle by his neck and picks him up to his feet. He locks up with Kurt Angle and they are tied up in the center of the ring. RVD then comes out of no where behind Kurt Angle and grabs Kurt Angle by his tights his ring gear he then pulls him down and rolls him up for a school boy like pin fall but John Cena trying to keep his gold just kickes RVD in the back of the head.

John Cena grabs RVD and then lifts him up in the air and slams him back down to the mat below he scoop slams him. John Cena has Rob Van Dam down in the center of the ring and John Cena leans forward and moves his hand over his face and does the "You can't see me" John Cena runs at the ropes and aims on the rebound to hit RVD with a Five knuckle shuffle but on the rebound Kurt Angle who was on one knee jumped up and clotheslined John Cena down holding his arm out as he was running. Kurt Angle begins to kick John Cena and stomp away at him while he is down he seems to forget and leave RVD out of the equation as RVD gets to his feet runs at the ropes opposite Kurt Angle and then on the rebound on the way back he dropkicks Kurt Angle in the side of the body. This sends Kurt Angle out of the ring through the second rope. With John Cena on the mat near the ropes RVD looks to the crowd who chant his name and RVD runs at the ropes again. RVD wants to hit John Cena with a rolling thunder. He rolls forward and just as he gets in the air John Cena got on to his feet jumped up to his feet and caught him in the air on his shoulders. John Cena carries him to the middle of the ring on his shoulders in position for the FU to possibly end this match right here and right now. RVD starts to move his legs and starts to try and worm and move his way back down to the mat almost looking like he is swimming. RVD does manage to make John Cena lose grip on him, RVD falls back down to the mat behind John Cena and when John Cena turns around to face RVD he gets kicked right in the gut by RVD. Also at this time Kurt Angle is slowly getting back into the ring he is on one knee and is using the ring apron to pull himself up.

RVD after kicking John Cena in the gut throws him at the ropes, on the rebound RVD leans forward bending over wanting to do a back body drop on John Cena but John Cena puts the brakes on and stops at the ropes. He then walks up to RVD who is still leaning forward and clubs him with a closed fist as hard as he can in the back. RVD falls down as it really hurt his lower back. Kurt Angle just used the ropes to get up to his feet and had ran at John Cena wanting to knock him over once again with a vicous clothesline but John Cena ducks underneath the right arm and then is behind Kurt Angle he starts to throw rights and lefts at Kurt Angle and pushes him back into the ropes. John Cena grabs Kurt Angle throws him at the ropes and then on the rebound Kurt Angle shoulder blocks John Cena down. Kurt Angle keeps running at the ropes as John Cena lyes down on his stomach when the time is right John Cena jumped up to his feet and leap frogged over Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle instead of running at the ropes again he turns around to face John Cena and out of no where grabs hold of him wrapping his arms around Cena's chest. He then sends Cena flying into the corner of the ring with a belly to belly suplex. Kurt Angle does his taunt where he has the arms out wide and he cirlces around on the spot. When he does a full turn he gets blindsided by Rob Van Dam when RVD jumped and kicked Kurt Angle down with a vandaminater kick to the jaw.

Kurt Angle down and John Cena down in the corner of the ring RVD is the man with the advantage as of now. He stands up on his feet, he then runs at the ropes in the corner and jumps up to the top turnbuckle. He turns around on the turnbuckle and has his back facing both competitors. With John Cena too far away in the other corner the only man RVD can hit is Kurt Angle as he is the closest. RVD then turns around putting himself in the position on the ropes for the Five Star Frog Splash. He leaps into the air but in mid air Kurt Angle rolls futher out of the way and RVD crashes and burns on the canvas mat below. RVD is holding his chest and rolling around the ring in pain. At this time Kurt Angle had rolled to the ropes and grabbed hold of the ropes to try and pull himslef up to a vertical base up on his feet. John Cena at this time was also starting to get back into this match. Kurt Angle goes up to John Cena standing in the corner and begins to kick him hard in the sternum, John Cena switches position putting Kurt against the corner and John Cena begns to throw rights and lefts at Kurt Angle in the corner of the ring. This would be going on back and forth each men giving their own shots into each other for almost a minute. Until Rob Van Dam who was standing on one knee on the other end of the ring ran at John Cena and Kurt Angle fighting each other in the opposite corner. John Cena had his back to RVD, before RVD got to them while he was still running Kurt Angle punched John Cena down on the mat with one hard shot and then before Angle could even blink Rob Van Dam had jumped ontop of Angle and sent him flying with a monkey flip or monkey toss manouver.

Rob Van Dam at this time was the only man at his feet, he went up to John Cena who seemed like he was getting back into the match as he was on all four RVD picked him up, he was about to do something to him but John Cena came out of the ropes punching and giving the offense taking RVD back to the middle of the ring. RVD faught back with a few shots of his own and then RVD tried to kick John Cena in the gut but Cena caught the leg grabbed hold of the leg. RVD is hopping and is on one leg as John Cena is in controll of this matchup. RVD then goes jumps up in the air and knocks John Cena over and out with an enzeguri kick to the back of the head. When RVD got back to his feet the crowd where going nuts for him, he went up to Kurt Angle who after the monkey toss was sitting confortably against the second turnbuckle in the corner watching them go at it. Kurt Angle gets picked up to his feet and then thrown at the ropes, though Kurt Angle reverses it and throws RVD at the ropes. While RVD is running Kurt Angle leans forward bending over wanting to send RVD flying with a back body drop. Just before he could RVD rolls, flips over Kurt Angle and keeps running at the ropes in front of him before Kurt Angle while he was running Kurt Angle turned around to meet RVD and then RVD went for a dropkick but Kurt Angle moved out of the way swatting him like a fly and misses the kick in the air RVD lands on his stomach on the mat below. Kurt Angle then quickly before a blink of an eye grabs hold of RVD's leg and ankle and locks him in the middle of the ring tight into the Ankle lock finisher move. RVD is screaming in agony as he is in a lot of pian but he doesn't tap out as of now. John Cena at this time was shaking off his enzeguri kick and had ran at the ropes he shoulder blocked Kurt Angle over and through the second rope and to the outside of the ring as Kurt Angle was sent out of the equation John Cena grabbed that very same leg of RVD and locked him into the STFU submission hold. RVD is once again in a troubled position.

JR: Look King, poor Rob he just doesn't seem to get a break one submission hold after another.
King: I am just watching Kurt Angle in front of our announce tables hopefully he can get back in there and beat both of them up.

RVD has the will of a warrior and doesn't seem to give up, He reaches his arm out as far as he can but he is just inches away from the ropes. He though still holds onto the match he tries to crawl closer to the ropes he tries for a commando crawl with one arm in front of another but John just applies more pressure to the body of RVD and it is too much he can't drag John to the ropes with him. RVD looks like he is going to tap out but he decides not to even though he is in tremendous pain he manages to hold on just a little while longer. Long enough for Kurt Angle to get back to his feet and run in to make the save he rolls under the bottom rope and kicks John in the back of the head. Breaking up the hold, Kurt then rolls RVD over and goes for the pin fall but John Cena kicks Kurt in the back of the head breaking up the pin fall before it even gets started. John Cena then grabs Kurt Angle and throws him at the ropes he then on the rebound tries to clothesline Kurt Angle down but Kurt Angle ducks underneath the right arm by John Cena and turns around him to be behind John Cena. When Angle is behind Cena he grabs hold of him and sends him flying with a german suplex in the middle of the ring, Kurt Angle holds onto the waist of John Cena and then sends him flying around the ring with german suplexes a total of three times. Once Kurt Angle gets back up to his feet he has both RVD and John Cena down. He then pulls the straps on his overalls his wrestling gear down and he signals the end is near he waits for either RVD and or John to ge to their respective feet to possibly hit them with an Angle slam.

King: Come'on Angle end this match now. This match has been going on for so long even the referee is getting a work out.

It takes a little while but RVD is the first man to get to his feet, he then hopping on one leg stands up on his feet and Kurt Angle waits for the right moment and is behind RVD he then grabs him and tries to get him in the angle slam but RVD lands on his feet behind Kurt Angle after reversing it and when Angle turned around RVD grabed Kurt Angle and sent him flying to the other end of the ring with an arm drag. Rob Van Dam then saw that John Cena was down and ran at the ropes on the rebound he went high in the air and hit a rolling thunder on John Cena to do more damage to him. It takes a few seconds but when RVD gets back up to his feet he grabs John Cena he drags him by the arms closer to the middle of the ring and then hooks the leg for the pin fall the referee makes the count. 1………2……,NO John Cena kicked out. RVD is having a hard time to believe it he realizes that he only has one chance while Kurt Angle is down to put John Cena away. RVD faces the turnbuckles garbs hold of the ropes in the corner and pulls himself up onto the top rope in one jump. On the top rope he is about to go for the five star frog splash on John Cena but moments before he would leave into the air Kurt Angle who was playing possum jumped up to his feet and like a flash he went up onto the top rope with Rob Van Dam. Kurt Angle is standing on the second rope and is punching and head butting away at Rob Van Dam. He manages to make Rob Van Dam groggy and look like he is almost about to fall over the top rope to the sides but Kurt Angle grabs RVD's arm and puts him in position for a super plex to the middle of the ring. At this time John Cena was slowly getting to his feet using the leverage and help by the ropes and had grabbed Kurt Angle from behind in the power bomb position. John Cena sent Kurt Angle flying with a power bomb which like dominoes sent Rob Van Dam flying with a super plex. Everyone is down and hurt in the middle of the ring.

JR: Oh my god did you see that, it can't get any more painfull than that King.
King: That's not fair Kurt Angle had RVD in a super plex why did John Cena have to come in the middle and take over.

As the referee begins to make the ten count and counts all three men out, no one even looks like they are moving as everyone felt the effects of that devistating power bomb super plex from the top rope. Though at around the count of seven John Cena does get up to his feet and the crowd does go nuts. John Cena see's both RVD and Kurt Angle down, he points at RVD and the crowd cheer he then points at Kurt Angle and they cheer even louder as they want John to go after Kurt Angle. John Cena tries to roll Kurt Angle who is on his back to his stomach but Kurt just kickes him at the ropes. On the rebound John Cena gets drop toe hold, tripped over by Kurt Angle and Angle locks Cena in the Ankle lock. John Cena is in a lot of pain he doesn't tap out he refuses to but he can't hold on for long because this match is starting to take toll on him and he is bitting his bottom lip to try and suck it in and last the match. Rob Van Dam jumps up to his feet behind Kurt Angle he runs at the ropes and on the rebound knocks Kurt Angle over on his back with a spinning round house kick to the jaw. Rob Van Dam quickly goes for the pin fall on John Cena to try and pick up the win after the damage that Kurt Angle had done. The referee makes the count. 1……2…., At this time John Cena has his hands around RVD and picks him up in the pin fall position and then puts him up on his shoulders showing a great feat of strength he then sends RVD down to the mat below with a devisating ring shaking FU. He hooks the leg for the pin fall and the referee makes the count. 1………2…….3!!!!!!!

Tornado Tag Team Ladder Match
Paul London and Brian Kendrick vs. DH Smith and Paul Burchill w/ the rest of the UKonnection ©

Chioda rang the bell to signal the start of the match, with the UKonnection already in control of the match since they ambushed them before the match. Burchill bounced of the ropes and gave Kendrick a huge lariat, before he went outside the ring and got a ladder that was rested up against the barricade, but in the meantime, London had managed to get away from Smith with a standing dropkick. Burchill slid it back into the ring, only for it to baseball slid into his face by London! Smith then quickly went back to London, but Paul hit him with a kick to the gut, quickly followed by a Swinging Neckbreaker. Kendrick had recovered from Burchill’s previous lariat, as he collected the ladder that Burchill attempted to bring into the ring earlier. Burchill was being helped by Regal on the outside, as Londrick isolated Smith in the ring. Kendrick brought the ladder into the middle of the ring, and he laid it down on the mat, as London dragged the Second Generation superstar over towards the ladder, looking for something huge. London then got him in a suplex position, but when he attempted a suplex onto the ladder, a recovered Burchill threw a watching Kendrick into the back of London, causing him to drop Smith. Burchill then laid some boots into Kendrick, as he lifted him and nailed him with a scoop slam, directly onto the ladder! The crowd give heat towards Burchill, who tells Regal to get him a ladder from under the ring, and Regal obliges. Regal, instead of getting the ladder that was leaning up against the barricade on the other side of the ring, look under the apron, and pulls out the ladder for Burchill. Regal slides the ladder into the ring to Burchill, who then sets up the ladder in the corner. Smith then lifts up Kendrick, and whips him into the ladder that Burchill had just set up in the corner, as Kendrick crumbles as his unexposed back smashed the metal ladder! Smith and Burchill then lift up London and go to do what Smith just did to Kendrick, but London held onto the ladder, stopping him from connecting with the ladder head first. Smith and Burchill then looked at each other, as Smith then charged at London, only to be back dropped over the top rope, straight onto Regal! Burchill then makes the same mistake and charges at London, but gets a face full of ladder after London gave him a drop toe hold straight into it!

London then quickly pounced since his opponents were out, as he quickly got the other ladder that was in the centre of the ring, and set it up, looking for the early victory. London gets as far as the first rung, before Natalya and Katie Lea get in the ring to get London off of the ladder, giving their UKonnection counterparts to get in the ring, but also during this time, Kendrick has gotten up after being sent into the ladder. Smith was the first up, and went for a clothesline to London, but London ducked under, and when DH came back, Londrick nailed him with a double hip toss, and once Burchill had entered the ring, London and Kendrick nailed him with a double dropkick. Londrick then got the ladder that was in the corner, and they placed it on the middle rope, in the centre of it. They lift up Smith, as Kendrick then heads to the top rope, and then London hits Smith with a body slam, smashing his back on the ladder! London then holds onto Smith’s legs, making him steady, as Kendrick then leaps off and nails him with a diving splash, sandwiching Smith between Kendrick and the ladder, as Smith may have done some serious damage. Kendrick also feels the effects after being winded, as he rolls off of Smith, leaving just London, but Burchill got up. London approached Burchill, and Paul then threw him into the ladder that was set up in the ring. When Paul looked to once again capitalise since everybody was down, this time William Regal got into the ring and got him down, before nailing him with a half nelson Suplex! Once again, UKonnection interference has prevented a possible Londrick win, as the two divas and Regal go to attend to their counterparts on the outside of the ring. Meanwhile, in the ring, Kendrick has gotten up, and he sees them on the outside. Kendrick then looks at the ladder that is still resting on the middle rope, before he runs off the ladder and nails the five UKonnection members with a huge body press. All six of them are down, as London then begins to stir in the ring, but is still feeling the effects of the Half Nelson Suplex from half way up the ladder. For the third time in the match, after London got up, Paul finds himself unattended with the ladder in the centre of the ring. London manages to get up, but he can’t get up the ladder as quickly as he is hurt from the devastating suplex, but he manages to get up, rung by rung.

When London reaches the 4th highest rung, it looks as though he will be able to reach the belts only 4 minutes into the match, but on the outside, the UKonnection have Regal, Smith and Burchill attacking Kendrick in a three on one assault, which then catches London’s attention. When London is distracted, Natalya and Katie Lea once again get in the ring, and they tip the ladder so that London falls, right onto the ladder that was on the ropes! The two divas smile, as we see the 3 men on the outside are happy also. Regal and Burchill stay on the outside and begin assaulting London, while Smith goes inside, and starts to work on London. Smith smirks at the unconscious London, before he lifts him up once again, before hoisting him up on his shoulders, before nailing London with his patented Running Powerslam, directly onto the ladder leaning on the middle rope! The crowd give big heat although there is a mix of ‘Holy Shit’ chants, as Smith smirks at the damage he has obviously caused to London’s back. On the outside, Regal and Burchill double Irish Whip Kendrick, right into the ring post! Burchill tells Regal to once again get a ladder, as Regal goes to get the one leaning across the barricade, but Burchill stops him, and then smirks. Burchill then signals for Regal to go over to Kendrick and Regal obliges, confused at what Burchill is doing. The former ‘pirate’ heads up the entrance way, before going all the way down, where the ladders are set up. The crowd give a mixed reaction, as they know that Burchill is going to get the 20 foot ladder. Burchill gets the ladder and tucks it under his arm, before he gets it and sets it up, so it resting on the ring apron and the barricade (like what have happened in the past two Money in the Bank ladder matches). Burchill then ducks under the ladder to get to the other side where Regal is, as the two attempt to give Kendrick a double suplex onto the ladder, but somehow, Kendrick managed to keep his ground. Kendrick nailed the two with punches their guts, while in the ring, Smith is toying with London, throwing him into the two ladders that are in the ring. Kendrick went back before sprinting towards the Brits, but for his troubles, he is met with a double back body drop, directly onto the ladder!

London looks straight up at the belts, as his partner Kendrick has recovered and he gets a ladder also and puts it next to London’s before climbing up the ladder. The crowd give a pretty big pop as London looks down at Kendrick and then stops on his way up the ladder, seemingly waiting for Kendrick to get up so they can get the title together. This proves to be costly however, as Smith and Burchill get up on the outside! Both men get in the ring, as Smith pushes London’s ladder down and Burchill pushes Kendrick’s ladder down, but somehow, London and Kendrick fall on their feet, albeit with the help of the ropes. Smith and Burchill then look at each other before charging at the high flying duo, but Londrick both pull the top rope down, as they use UKonnection’s own momentum to send themselves tumbling all the way over the top rope, and to the arena floor (FYI, they are near the entrance ramp). Londrick play to the crowd once more, as Regal, Natalya and Katie Lea finally begin to recover on the outside. London and Kendrick wait for Smith and Burchill to get up, and when they did, the two (London and Kendrick) looked at each other, before seizing the ropes with both of their hands and catapulted themselves over the top rope for a double cross body block onto both men! London and Kendrick both get up unscathed to cheers from the crowd, but it soon turns to heat, as Regal comes charging through and clocks Kendrick in the face with a huge ladder shot, causing Kendrick to be busted on above his right eye. Regal goes for the same shot to London, but Paul sees Regal and manage to duck under the shot, as the ladder then hits the ring post and flies out of Regal’s hands. London then goes for a kick to the gut, but Regal manages to hold on to Paul’s foot. London, however, seemed to be expecting this, as he lifted up his other leg and nailed Regal right in the side of the head with a perfectly placed Enziguiri! London looks down at Regal, but during this, Smith and Burchill have recovered, and they manage to get London in a double Pumphandle slam position. The UKonnection, however, aren’t looking for the Pumphandle slam, but instead they nail the helpless cruiserweight with a double battering ram sending London’s head directly into the unforgiving steel ring post!

Smith and Burchill smirk at the fallen London and the now busted open Kendrick, before Burchill points at Kendrick to Smith, signalling they should do that exact same move to Kendrick, as Smith gives out an evil smirk and agrees with his tag team partner. The two fighting members of the UKonnection lift up the seemingly unconscious Kendrick, but when they charge towards the ring post, Kendrick gets off of their shoulders before nailing them with a double dropkick to their backs (one foot connecting with one of the man’s backs each), sending the Brits right into the ring post! Regal looks worried and once again charges at Kendrick, but he is met with a drop toe hold directly onto the ring apron! Kendrick then looks down at the three fallen male members of the UKonnection, before he goes on the ring apron and then makes his way up to the top rope, with his back facing the UKonnection. Kendrick once again waits for the UKonnection members to get up; Kendrick leaps off the top rope with a wonderful Moonsault, nailing the three UKonnection members! Kendrick favours his ribs when he goes down, as all 5 men are out, as the UKonnection ladies in Katie Lea Burchill and Natalya look worried, as they tend to their fellow stable mates. Kendrick, with the blood now pouring from his face, was the first man up, as London looks concussed on the outside, not bleeding but he hasn’t moved an inch since the double battering ram. Kendrick slides into the ring, and set up a ladder in the middle of the ring, but once again, while a member from Londrick looks like he will win the tag titles for his team, there is interference from the UKonnection, once again from the ladies. This time, however, Kendrick seems them coming, and quickly gets off the ladder and grabs the two girls by the hair, to a pretty big pop from the crowd. Kendrick plays to the crowd once again, but this proves costly, as the two women nail Kendrick with a double low blow to Kendrick to heat from the crowd, as we see the agony show on Kendrick’s face. Katie Lea and Neidhart aren’t done, however, as they get one side of the ladder each, and they tip it towards Kendrick’s face, smashing Brian’s face with the solid steel! The crowd give heat once again, as we once see that the both the UKonnection members and Paul London are beginning to get up.

The women are pleased with their work, before the once again go to their stale mates, hoping for them to get up as they now have an opening. However, they don’t see that London is up now, as he climbs up to the apron and rolls under the bottom rope, not having the strength to get in through the middle rope. London then gets the ladder that Kendrick head was smashed with, and he sets it up in the middle of the ring, but before he even gets the chance to begin his ascension, Smith and Burchill are in the ring, obviously having the advantage since it is two on one. Smith clubs London in the back when he is 3 rungs up the ladder, before he pulls him down, and Burchill and Smith lock London in their signature double Dragon Sleeper! London begins to fade as soon as the move is locked in, as the Brits are relentless, choking London until he passes out. After 30 second of the hold being locked in the deadly hold, Burchill and Smith flip London into a double inverted suplex! Burchill then climbs up the ladder, as Smith works over London once again. Smith lifts up London, and rams him head first into the turnbuckles, before he drags him into the centre of the ring, then getting him in a powerbomb position. Burchill had reached nearly the top of the ladder, meaning that he was in reach of the belts, but before he could reach up to attempt to get the belts, London reversed the attempted powerbomb from Smith into a Hurricanrana, directly into the ladder! The ladder stumbled, as Burchill tried to steady it, but it was to no avail, as a recovered Brian Kendrick was on the ring apron, and he then bounced off of the top rope and hit the ladder with a perfect Springboard Dropkick, sending the ladder down and Burchill along with it! Smith was down after the Hurricanrana, London was barely conscious after the double dragon sleeper and Burchill took a 10 foot fall, which meant that all Kendrick would have to do was recover and get the belts, but there was still the most certain interference from the UKonnection, although Kendrick also had that covered. There were three ladders in the ring, but Kendrick decided that he would only need two, so he got one that was lying on the mat and put it near the ropes, and before the inactive members of the UKonnection could do anything, Kendrick nailed the ladder with a baseball slide right into Regal’s face, and the effect caused him to stumble back and knock out the two ladies, giving him in a clear path!

For some reason, Kendrick decided to set up another ladder next to the one that Burchill climbed, instead of just climbing the already set up ladder. Kendrick looked up at the belts through the dried up blood on his face (which had trickled down to his chest), before making his way up the ladder, seemingly having a free path. However, setting up the ladder and taking care of the other members of the UKonnection proved to be costly, as during this time, Smith had recovered from London’s Hurricanrana, ad he made his way up the ladder, the same one that Kendrick was still climbing. Kendrick manages to get to the top of the ladder, but unfortunately for Londrick, Smith meets Kendrick up at the top of the ladder when he raised his arms, attempting to pull the belts down. Smith nailed him with a shot to the unexposed gut of Kendrick. Smith then rams the head of Kendrick into the ladder, before holding his head down onto the ladder, before stretching up his other arm, attempting to pull down the belts. Kendrick, however, uses his free arms to punch Smith, freeing Kendrick from Smith’s grasp. Kendrick then repeatedly nails Smith with stiff punches, before he seizes his head in an RKO position. Kendrick, without hesitating, puts one foot on the ladder next to him before putting the other foot there (not freeing Smith from his grasp), before jogging up the ladder, and with shades of the infamous Fatal Four Way Ladder Match from Armageddon 2006, KENDRICK NAILS SMITH WITH THE SLICED BREAD #2 OFF THE TOP OF THE LADDER! The crowd erupt into the second ‘Holy Shit’ chant of the match, as we see Kendrick and Smith out of it on the mat! We cut to several replays of the massive spot, where they showed a replay of where a camera was set up just above the cables where the belts were hanging, giving us a good idea of how high the fall came from. While the two were down, it was time for Burchill and London to go at it. London met Burchill with a few forearms to the face, before bouncing off the ropes, only for Burchill to meet the former Cruiserweight Champion with a knee to the gut, gaining the advantage. Burchill nails London with a kick to the gut, before turning him around, and nailing his patented Twisted Sister! Burchill smirks, and signals that he is not finished with his punishment of London, before he rakes London in the eyes, showing his dirty tactics. Burchill then whips London into the corner, before he lifts him up and rests him on the top rope. Burchill nails London with some punches, before he also made his way up to the top turnbuckle, perhaps thinking something big (though obviously not as big as Kendrick’s Sliced Bread).

Burchill gets on the second rope, nailing some more punches to London’s skull, as the cruiserweight looks like he would fall to the outside of the ring, as the punches seemed to knock all the sense out of him. However, London managed to stay on the top rope by holding onto the rope with one hand. Burchill then bent down on the top rope, before he put London down into a crouched position, and got him in a front face lock, obviously thinking to put London away with a Superplex from off of the top rope, much like Hawkins tried to do to Haas in the WWE Tag Team Championship match earlier. Burchill attempts to nail the high impact move, but once again, London stays on the top rope by holding onto the top rope with one hand. Burchill attempts some more punches to London, but when he attempted a knock- out blow, London raised his arm, mustering up enough strength to prevent Burchill’s punch. London began to throw everything he had at Burchill, punches, kicks (from quite awkward positions) and even head butts. It was now Burchill’s turn to attempt to not fall and stay on the top rope, and London saw this and capitalized, nailing a huge Tornado DDT from off the top rope! The crowd erupt in cheers once again, as all four men are out on the mat! The top rope move that London executed seemed to take a lot out of him, as he was huffing and puffing on the mat as well, right next to an unconscious Burchill. 2 and a half minutes after their amazing spot, Kendrick and Smith were back up on their feet again, battling it out, very groggily, trading punch for punch, attempting to get the other man off of their feet. The crowd showed that they were extremely into this amazing contest, as when Smith nailed Kendrick punch, the crowd would give big heat, but whenever Kendrick would throw a punch, the crowd would give a pop, in the classic face vs. heel brawl. Much to the dismay of the fans, however, the bigger and stronger Smith takes the advantage, nailing Kendrick with a kick to the gut, quickly followed by a body slam onto the mat. Smith puts his arms out in a narcissistic way before smirking, which draws heat from the fans, but gets the applause of his fellow stable mates in William Regal, Katie Lea Burchill and Smith’s cousin Natalya Neidhart. Smith then lifted Kendrick up from the mat, before bad-mouthing him, and SLAPPING HIM IN THE FACE! The crowd give big heat for the lack of disrespect for the talented youngster, as Smith then bounces off the ropes, looking for a clothesline, but with shades of his teacher Shawn Michaels, Kendrick meets the 2nd Generation Superstar with a picture perfect Atomic Drop! Kendrick attempts to clothesline Smith over the top rope and take himself out of the ring with a clothesline where the huge ladder was still resting on the apron and barricade, but somehow, the two remain on the apron.

The two trade blows, but the bigger Smith takes the advantage once again, ramming Kendrick’s head into the turnbuckle. Smith then brought Brian back over, and he got him in a suplex position. Kendrick, however, nails Smith with some punches to the gut, fending him off. Kendrick then nails Harry with some forearms to the face, but Smith lifts his leg up straight into Kendrick’s groin! Kendrick bends over in pain, but Smith doesn’t hesitate, quickly getting Kendrick up and nailing him with a Brainbuster, going STRAIGHT THROUGH THE SET UP LADDER! The crowd let out a ‘Holy Shit’ chant, as Smith and Kendrick are both laid out in between the bent ladder! Smith has gotten revenge for the Sliced Bread #2 off the ladder from earlier on in the match! Meanwhile, in the ring, London is in trouble with Burchill (who has taken control after the tornado DDT from the top rope), as the taller Burchill attempts to slam London onto a ladder, but Kendrick floats over, only to be met with a knee to the gut. Burchill then bounces off the ropes, but when he meets London, the cruiserweight nails Burchill with a snap Hurricanrana! London then gets up and feeds off the energy from the crowd, before he turns around and eyes the ladder that his partner Kendrick set up in the corner earlier. London then looked around at the crowd before going through the middle rope, walking on the apron and climbing up onto the turnbuckle nearest to the ladder. London then looks out at the screaming fans once again, before getting one foot on the ladder, before climbing up the ladder, rung by rung. Once London reaches the top of the ladder, he goes to the other side, so he is closer to Burchill. London once again looks impressively out to the crowd, before looking down at Burchill and taking a deep breath. London then flips off the ladder, giving Burchill an astonishing SHOOTING STAR PRESS OFF THE TOP OF THE LADDER!!! The crowd go absolutely ape shit at the spot, but instead of chanting out ‘Holy Shit’, they begin to chant ‘This is Awesome!’ The camera pans out to all 4 superstars who are laid out, but not long after, Smith gets up, and gingerly gets back in the ring, before getting the ladder that London used earlier and sets it up in the middle of the ring. DH makes sure that the ladder is steady, before climbing up the ladder very slowly, showing what he has gone through in this match. Harry holds on very tightly to the ladder, as the crowd are giving big heat, as they obviously don’t want the UKonnection to retain their gold. As Smith gets up to the fifth highest rung, we see London crawling towards the ladder. Regal sees this, as he quickly slides in the ring, pulls London away from the ladder, and locks in the Regal Stretch! The crowd give huge heat, as Smith climbs up two more ladder rungs and retrieves the World Tag Team Title belts! The UKonnection are still the World Tag Team Champions!

This is a match I wrote a few months back for a BTB.

Rules of the Showdown Match
-First person to gain a pinfall has a 1-0 advantage over their opponents. They can continue to fight, or sit out and wait until another person scores a pinfall. When another person scores a pinfall, the person who hasn’t scored a pinfall is eliminated. The entire match is No Disqualification.
-The match continues with the two people who got a pinfall. The second match, will be a steel cage match.
-The person that wins the final match is the winner of the showdown match.

Three Way Dance-Showdown Match
John Cena vs Shawn Michaels vs Batista

The bell rings and all three men stay in their respective corners. They look at each other, before slowly making their ways to the middle of the ring. Once they all get to the middle of the ring, all three men stare a hole in each other. The trash talk begins from John Cena, trying to pysch his two opponents out. Shawn Michaels starts the action with a cheap slap to the face of John Cena. He then turns to Batista and slaps him too. Batista instantly charges at Shawn Michaels and takes him down with a huge clothesline, as John Cena just backs back into the corner and watches the action. Michaels gets back up, only to be taken back down to the mat with a huge clothesline from Batista. Batista helps Michaels up to his feet, and whips him off the ropes, before delivering a huge back-body drop. Shawn Michaels crawls over to the ropes and gets up to his feet, but Batista charges at him and clotheslines him out of the ring! John Cena takes advantage of this, and he clubs Batista in the back, turns him around, kicks him in the gut and delivers a big DDT! Cena covers.

Batista kicks out. John Cena gets up to his feet, as Batista gets up to his feet using the ropes. When he gets up to his feet, Cena runs at Batista, but Batista lowers his head and back body drops Cena right onto Shawn Michaels, who was just starting to get up to his feet! Batista gets out of the ring and grabs the steel chair in which the Lillian Garcia was sitting on. He walks over to where Cena and Michaels are. Cena is up to his feet, as Michaels is just about to get up. Batista smashes Cena right in the skull with the chair! Cena falls back down, with a thud. Batista turns around to hit Michaels with the chair, but Michaels jumps up, and sweet chin music’s the chair right into Batista’s face! Batista falls down as well, as Michaels starts to regain himself. He gets up to his feet, and walks up to Batista and starts to try and get him up, and get him into the ring, but it’s like lifting dead weight. Michaels abandons this plan, and grabs Cena instead. He manages to get Cena up where he is leaning up against the ring apron. He then gets inside the ring and pulls Cena into the ring, where he makes a cover.

Cena manages to get his foot on the bottom rope. Michaels gets up to his feet, looking a small bit frustrated. Nonetheless, he helps Cena up to his feet, before going to whip him into the corner, but Cena manages to reverse it, and sends Michaels into the corner. Cena runs at Michaels and hits him with a small spear in the corner. Cena grabs Michaels arm and whips him into the opposite corner, and once again, gives him another mini spear in the corner. This time, John Cena puts Shawn Michaels onto the top rope in a sitting position. John Cena climbs up onto the second rope, and looks like he is going to try and land a superplex on Michaels. Cena goes for it, but Michaels manages to hold onto the ropes. At this time, Batista gets into the ring, and gets Batista in a Powerbomb position, and he hits the TOWER OF DOOM as Batista powerbombs John Cena, and Cena superplexes Shawn Michaels! Batista makes it up to his feet, and looks at the damage he has caused. He smiles to himself as he covers John Cena, who received most of the damage.

Batista gets up and he raises his arms up into the air. He slides out of the ring, and takes a seat by the announcers table. Both John Cena and Shawn Michaels start to stir around. Both men get up to their feet, and they start to exchange right hands. Michaels gets the better of the situation though, and he lays the rights onto Cena, backing Cena up into the ropes. Michaels then whips Cena off the ropes, and lowers his head, but that turns out of be a mistake, as Cena kicks Michaels hard in the face. Michaels falls down to the mat, cupping his face in his hands. Michaels brings his hands down, and has blood all over them. He’s busted open, with blood coming from his nose, as he may have a broken nose. John Cena helps Michaels up to his feet, and tosses him outside of the ring, in front of the announcers table. Cena gets out of the ring as well, as he starts to tear apart the announcers table. He gets it cleaned off, and looks underneath the ring. Cena grabs a steel chair. He wonders over by Batista, and waits for Michaels to get up. Michaels gets up, and Cena acts like he is going to swing the chair at Michaels, but instead swings the chair and Batista, and hits him right in the face. Batista is out once again.

Cena turns around right into Michaels who lays some hard right hands onto him. Shawn then goes for the sweet chin music, but Cena sucks underneath it. Cena then goes for a clothesline on Michaels, but Michaels back-body drops Cena right onto the table! The table doesn’t give way though. Michaels sees what he has done though, and he climbs onto the ring apron. He then jumps onto the second rope, and does a MOONSAULT right onto Cena, on the table. The table gives way as it crashes to the floor. Both men are out, as the referee checks on them. There is nothing the referee can do though, since the match is No DQ, so he just waits it out. Eventually, Shawn Michaels starts to stir around. Shawn gets up to his feet, and helps Cena up to his feet, before rolling him into the ring. Michaels goes for a cover.

John Cena manages to kick out at two. Shawn Michaels gets up to his feet, and goes to the corner and starts to tune up the band! ONE…TWO…THREE…FOUR…FIVE…John Cena manages to get up to his feet and turns around right into the SWEET CHIN MUSIC! Shawn Michaels though doesn’t do the smart thing. He lets his emotion get the best of him, and he gets out of the ring, and starts to climb to the top rope. He gets there, and looks like he is going to hit the elbow drop, but Batista comes up behind him with the Singapore Cane, AND HITS SHAWN MICHAELS IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH IT! Shawn falls down to the mat, and Batista steps into the ring. John Cena starts to try and get up to his feet, as he is on all four, but Batista hits him in the back several times with the cane. Batista then throws the cane out of the ring, and steps out himself. He GETS THE STEEL STEPS and throws them into the ring. He positions them, and then helps John Cena up to his feet. He gets Cena in position, and then hits the BATISTA BOMB ON THE STEEL STEPS! Batista then gets out of the ring, as Shawn Michaels starts to stir around in the ring. Shawn gets over to Cena, rolls Cena off the steel steps, and covers him.

Somehow, someway, John Cena managed to kick out at two. Shawn Michaels gets up to his feet, now clearly frustrated. He points out to Batista and starts talking some trash to him. Michaels then turns around into John Cena, who was playing possum. Cena lifts Michaels up onto his shoulders, and hits the F-U! Cena climbs onto the cover.

SHAWN MICHAELS KICKS OUT AT TWO! John Cena gets up and shakes his head no. He helps Michaels up onto his feet, lifts him onto his shoulders, goes over by the steel steps, and HITS THE F-U ON THE STEEL STEPS! Cena again climbs on the cover hooking the far leg.

Batista gets up, and gets in the ring, as the referee tell both men to stay away from each other for the time being. The steel cage starts to lower. Shawn Michaels gets up, and goes over by the announcers table, as it looks like Michaels is gonna stay at ringside for this match. Both men glare at each other. The referee takes some of the weapons that were in the ring and puts them outside of the ring. The cage lowers down to the ring, and some WWE officials make sure the cage is in place. The referee then rings the bell. Neither men waste anytime getting at each other’s throats. They both exchange right hands, but Batista gets the better of the advantage, backing John Cena up into the ropes. Batista hits Cena with a right hand, so hard that it makes Cena go over the top rope, to where he gets stuck in between the ropes and the cage! Batista pulls Cena out, and helps him up to his feet. Batista then grabs Cena’s head, and tosses him face first into the steel cage! Cena falls down to the mat, and Batista decides to go for a cover.

John Cena kicks out at two. Batista gets up, and helps John Cena up to his feet. He grabs him by the head, and looks like he is going to ram his face into the steel cage, but John Cena puts his foot on the second rope, gets out of Batista’s grip, grabs Batista’s head, and rams it into the steel cage! Batista falls back onto the mat, and Cena takes this opportunity to gain back some of his strength. Batista starts to get up to his feet, so John Cena gets up, and kicks him right in his stomach. Batista squirms around the ring, holding his stomach, but he gets back on his feet. John Cena runs at him and hits him with a shoulder block, but it barely moves Batista. Batista smiles a little bit then starts laughing. John Cena backs up then runs at Batista again, and hits him with another shoulder block, barely moving Batista. Batista stars laughing really hard which angers Cena. Cena comes off the ropes, and runs at Batista, but this time, Batista hits Cena with a huge clothesline!

Batista gets up, and screams, which makes all his veins pop out. He goes over to the ropes, and starts to shake the top rope. He then gives thumbs up…Thumbs down. He gets Cena in position, lifts him up, but when he gets Cena up for the Batista Bomb, Cena hits Batista with rights after rights after rights. Eventually, Batista lets go of Cena, and Cena hits Batista with another shoulder block, this time knocking him down. Cena slaps his chest and makes all his veins pop out. Batista gets up to his feet, and the match so called ‘starts over again’ with both men in the middle of the ring staring each other down. Cena goes for a right hand, but Batista ducks it, comes up and hits a SPINEBUSTER! Batista climbs onto the cover hooking the leg.

John Cena kicks out at two and a half, with Batista almost winning the match. Batista gets up to his feet and puts his face in his hands, obviously frustrated. Batista gets up to his feet and decides he will try to escape from the cage. He goes over to the corner and climbs to the top rope. He has his hands on the top of the cage, and tries to pull himself up to the top of the cage. He starts to pull himself up, but John Cena comes up behind him, and pulls on his leg, causing him to fall off the cage, and go face first into the top rope. Batista staggers back right into Cena, who lifts Batista onto his shoulders, then hits the F-U! Instead of going for the cover, John Cena decides to go for the easy way out, and calls for the cage door to be opened. John Cena starts to exit the ring, but that’s all he will get, as SHAWN MICHAELS throws the referee down to the ground, takes the cage door, and slams it right on John Cena!

The impact makes Cena fall back into the ring. Cena is on the ground, holding left arm and ribs, which took the most of the impact. The referee sends Shawn Michaels to the back, banning him from this match. Batista is slowly getting back up to his feet with some help from the ropes. Batista eventually makes it to his feet, and helps Cena up to his feet. Cena though, slips away from Batista, and low blows him! Cena then goes over to the cage, and starts to climb it. He eventually gets up to the top of the cage in a sitting position, but Batista is back up. Batista climbs up to the top rope, and grabs Cena by his jeans, and THROWS HIM FROM THE TOP OF THE CAGE BACK DOWN TO THE MAT! Cena looks to be out cold, as Batista smiles, before proceeding up the cage. He gets to the top, but LANCE CADE comes down to the ring this time, with a steel chair. He throws the steel chair up at Batista, and HITS HIM RIGHT IN THE FACE! Batista falls down on the top of the cage, knocked out. He stays on the top of the cage though, the side closest to the announcer tables.

Shawn Michaels sees this, and he runs at Lance Cade. The two exchange right hands, as Shawn Michaels gets the better of the advantage though, hitting Cade with rights, making Cade walk farther up the ramp with every punch. The two get toward the stage area, and Lance Cade ducks a right from Michaels and hits a huge clothesline. Camera goes back to the ring to show both men still knocked out, with Cena in the ring, and Batista still on the top of the cage. Lance Cade helps Michaels up to his feet, and takes him to the edge of the stage, looking to throw him off. The stage is about 15 feet in the air. Michaels comes to life though and hits Cade with some more right hands, and now it’s Cade who’s about to fall of the stage. Michaels then backs up and goes for SWEET CHIN MUSIC, but Cade blocks it by grabbing Michaels foot. He grabs Michaels other foot, making Michaels go down, hitting his head on the metal stage. Cade then gets Michaels in position, and CATERPULTS HIM OFF THE STAGE, to where Michaels goes through a bunch of stacked up tables!

Lance Cade runs back down to the ring, where Both men are starting to stir. He climbs up the cage where Batista is, and the two exchange hands on the top of the steel cage. Batista gets the advantage, but Cade pokes Batista in the eye, and then grabs his head and rams it against the cage. Cena is back up to his feet in the ring, but he is really groggy. He sits back down in the corner, and watches Batista and Lance Cade. Lance Cade sees the opportunity that he has to get away from Batista, and he starts to climb back down the cage. Just as he starts to climb down. Batista gets up, and was playing possum the whole time. He smiles as Lance Cade shakes his head no and pleases with Batista not too, but Batista kicks hard at Lance Cade right in the face, and eventually, Cade FLIES FAR OFF THE CAGE AND HE GOES THROUGH THE RAW ANNOUNCERS TABLE! John Cena looks on with his mouth open, and can’t believe what happened. Batista starts to climb down the cage, and Cena calls for the gate to the cage to be opened. It does, and Cena climbs out, as Batista leaps off the cage.

Cena jumps off the ring apron, and the referee raises Cena’s hand! The fans boo, as the referee inside the ring gets out of the cage, and shakes his head no to the referee. He goes over to Batista and raises his hand! The fans pop like crazy! John Cena shakes his head no, as the two referee’s then get into an argument about who won the match.

Mike Adamle: Excuse Me.

**Mike Adamle appears on the stage**

Mike Adamle: It appears to me that our referee on the outside, Chad Patton, believes that John Cena has won this match.

**Heat**

Mike Adamle: However, our referee on the inside of the ring, Marty Elias, believes that it was Batista who won the match.

**Pop**

Mike Adamle: I can’t tell you who won the match, and if the referee’s can’t decide who won the match, then that means the match is a draw.

**Major Heat**

Mike Adamle: But, tonight, I want to give the fans what they want. So Batista, John Cena, you better get back in the ring, cause this match is about to restart!

**Huge Pop**

John Cena starts shouting at Adamle, apparently wanting nothing more to do with Batista. Batista runs over to John Cena, and hits him with a clothesline! Batista helps Cena up to his feet, before throwing him back into the ring, getting in himself, and then slamming the door shut. Cena backs up into the corner, and pleads with Batista. Batista starts smiling, and grabs Cena and helps him up to his feet he hits him with a few right hands, before whipping him into the corner. Batista runs at Cena, but Cena gets out of the way, and Batista runs into the turnbuckle. Cena runs toward the opposite corner, and scurries to the top rope. He then gets his hands on the top of the cage, and starts to pull himself to the top, but Batista is back, and he grabs Cena’s foot. Cena starts to kick, but to no avail. Batista then pulls Cena from the cage, to where Cena lands on the ropes in an awkward position (wink wink.)

Batista smiles before he starts to shake the ropes. Cena roars in pain, before Cena falls off the ropes to the mat holding his…(well you know.) Batista helps Cena up to his feet, gets him in position for the Batista Bomb, but as he gets Cena up, Cena hits Batista in the head with right hands. Batista eventually goes down, and Cena continues with the rights. Rights after rights. After at least 20 right hands, Cena gets up, then shows his hands, which have blood all over them. Batista sits up and his face is a crimson mask. Batista sets up, but that’s as far as he’ll get as Cena comes off the ropes and kicks Batista right in the face. Cena then sits down, fatigue starting to settle in. He calls for the door to the cage to be opened, and then begins to slowly go toward it. He gets to the door, and starts to crawl out. He has his head out, with only his legs still in the cage, and it looks like Cena is going to win. Wait, but Batista manages to grab hold of one of Cena’s legs, Cena starts to try and pull himself out of the cage, and trying to get Batista to let go, but it’s no use. Batista, using all his might and power, manages to pull Cena back into the ring.

Cena gets up to his feet and kicks Batista in the gut. He then goes to whip him off the ropes, but Batista manages to reverse it, and he sends Cena off the ropes. Batista lowers his head looking for a back-body drop, but Cena puts on the Emergency Brakes, and then kicks Batista right in the fact. Batista is flung backwards a bit, and his face is bleeding even more. Cena grabs Batista’s hand, and lifts him onto his shoulders. He then hits the F-U! Cena covers.

Batista manages to roll his shoulder off the canvas! John Cena is irate! He gets up to his feet and gets in the corner, waiting for Batista to get up. Batista gets up, and Cena goes over to him and lifts him onto his shoulders looking for yet another F-U, but this time, he goes over by the cage, and F-U’S BATISTA RIGHT INTO THE CAGE! Cena sees what he has done, and smiles a little bit. He then calls for the door to the cage to be opened, and when it does, he climbs out of the cage with both feet touching the floor.

John Cena, with a huge grin on his face, walks up the ramp way a littler bit. The ref chases him down, and then raises his arm in the air, signaling him the winner. Cena then trash talks a little, before walking to the back.
