WWE: Past is the Present

~ Backstory ~

For quite some time now, World Wrestling Entertainment has been headed on a downward spiral. Placing all their chips on the top guys just seemingly is not an option, giving us no choice but to go back to the year of 2006, when so many young guys had potential that was wasted by WWE's bad booking.

What would WWE have been ...

WWE 2008: Decisive Action

This BTB starts just before Royal Rumble 2008, Vince McMahon has finally realized the threat of TNA. their buyrates on their PPVs are rising so does their ratings. while his shows' ratings are on the slums. although merchandise sales are high. McMahon said that if he let TNA rise more. What's the point of even selling merchandise if they are not properly advertised. being the money minded person Vince is. He decided to take a swift and decisive action...

Y2JericHardy presents: WWE: The Unpredictable Age!

Backstory: The WWE was on the up, after several great PPV’s. Vince was extremely happy with his companies progress, although there were some things that needed fine tuning, which led to the departure of the ECW brand. Vince saw that the Women’s division was struggling, which caused him to make the division and the title inter-brand, as well as re-instating the Cruiserweight Title as an inter-brand championship. Vince then saw that ratings ...

I just did not have time to do it, on Thursday night I had to go to hospital and spend the night there because I had a baby brother being born. And I will be busy as hell like a baby sitter now, and I thought I might as well post pone the thread for a while. I started planning for this BTB at around the time before Summerslam and after the Great American Bash. So, the roster is like it was then and any new acquisitions may be added in over time, so I hope you don’t mind large rosters. I don’t think a back-story is really needed as the champions and roster will be explained soon and I don’t want to use up any potential feuds. I am going to be writing all three shows and they start in the first week of the ...

Back Story: In August 2008 many of the WWE and TNA wrestlers were unhappy with management in their wrestling companies. The superstars were complaining of not being pushed and not getting enough money until they finally decided they wanted out of where they currently were. They looked for other wrestling organisations and couldn’t find anywhere that they would like to go. Eric Bishoff who was formally in the WWE saw this as a great chance to make a new Wrestling promotion much like WCW ...

He was splitting the brands. Shane was going to be the GM of Raw while Stephanie would be the GM of Smackdown. They would get 10 picks each on LIVE tv with the rest being held on WWE.COM.

The timeline will start from the night after No Way Out 2008.... so that we can build up to Wrestlemania.

Three things to be addressed before i begin:

1. The ECW brand is being disbanded and the top half of the ECW talent will be added to Raw and Smackdown rosters...while the rest will be sent to developmental programs. There will ...

In 2007, TNA had dropped dead to being competition to WWE as ratings slipped to .6 weekly, then down to .5 and suddenly, the entire product was bought out by the WWE chairman. Not knowing any competition would arise, WWE creative staff did a half ass job which didn't please ANY superstars in the WWE roster. Suddenly, Raw ratings went from a 3.7 weekly down to a 2.4 weekly by November 2007 and it continued to stay this way. It was worse for Smackdown! and ECW as ...
