Bringing back "Extreme" to Extreme Championship Wrestling

Backstory:

Ah. June 13 2006. The date that will live in the minds of the Hardcore ECW fans in the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. because for the first time in years. ECW had it's first telecast on network telivision on Sci-Fi. We saw RVD being named ECW Champion by Paul E. Cena and Edge crashing the party. Sandman beating the holy crap of "Zombie". and the chaotic main event that Sabu won. At first it was a ratings success. but as time passes. evidently lack of good storylines and the transition from a brand to a "HEAT" show has it playing around 1.0.
June 23. 2008. On the WWE Draft on RAW. Mr. McMahon announced after giving the $100.000 to a lucky WWE fan that ECW would be "returning" Tuesday night and he has invited a "very special guest" that revolutionized Hardcore wrestling to show up. What's the meaning of this? Who is the "special guest" that Mr. McMahon referring about?. Stay tuned to find out

This has got me interested a lot, especially with the guest, but I have a few questions to ask regarding this.

Is this prize $100.000 or $100,000 because there is $999,900 difference between the two numbers.

Was the Rey Mysterio draft pick a mistake or real as he is not on the roster?

Are you making the United States title ECW exclusive, and are the World Tag Titles ECW exclusive because Miz+Morrizon had them?

The prize is EXACTLY the same as the draft night. which will total 1 Million Dollars.

I altered the Drafts to make Rey Mysterio a part of the ECW Roster. and yes it is real

You are going to find out soon on the titles. but for now. i gotta hush on the details cause it will spoil it. Very Happy

"Draft Revamp"

Yesterday. we witness the entire landscape of the WWE and ECW change with our very eyes. CM Punk and Kane leaves the Land of Extreme for the flagship show. RAW. While ECW got Rey Mysterio and United States Champion Matt Hardy. also the after the Live Draft. a Supplemental Draft was held. ECW lost the likes of Kofi Kingston. Layla. Shelton Benjamin. Matt Striker and Big Daddy V. while gaining Super Crazy. Finlay and Hornswoggle, and Mark Henry.

Also. Yesterday Mr. McMahon announced that ECW will return tonight. and that he has invited a "special guest" that has "revolutionized" Hardcore wrestling. What does this mean for the Superstars of ECW?, What will return tonight? Who is this "special guest" Mr. McMahon is talking and referring about? Plus. What will be the fallout of the Draft?. *"The World is Watching" Intro is played, then highlights from the WWE Draft held on RAW last Monday is shown. after that. "Don't Question my Heart" plays throughout the arena and the similar intro video of ECW. but added to the intro are ECW's newest acquisitions. and removed from it are ECW's losses*

Mike Adamle: From the sold out arena here is Houston. TX. We welcome you to ECW!. I am Mike Adamle alongside my friend and com padre' Tazz. and what a Draft last night!.

Tazz: Yeah. it was the most unpredictable Draft in ages!. I mean we lost the ECW title to RAW!

Mike Adamle: That's right. Tazz because Kane was drafted to RAW last night and per Mr. McMahon orders. all titleholders that would be drafted. he brings the title to his respective show.

Tazz: But baby. What a acquisition we had. Matt Hardy to the Land of Extreme! and he brings the US title with him!.

Adamle: Don't forget Rey Mysterio. an ECW Original. and he's coming back to ECW!.

Tazz: How can i, Partner? Huge name we had there.

*"No Chance in Hell* is played. Mr. McMahon then came out to the stage with a mixture of cheers and boos. he came out with a smile on his face. He then struts on his signature "Power Walk" and goes inside the ring.

Adamle: Well. here comes the Chairman of the WWE. Vincent Kennedy McMahon.

Tazz: That's Mr. McMahon for you. Mike!.

Adamle: He said last night that ECW will return right here tonight. But what does he mean by that?

Tazz: I have no idea. but were about to find out.

McMahon: Cut the music.

*Mixed Heat and Pop

McMahon: Well. Last night on RAW. I promised that ECW would return here tonight.

*Crowd pops

McMahon:But What the hell do i mean by that?. I mean ECW has been here since 2006 and I. Vincent Kennedy McMahon. is responsible for the return of ECW.

*Crowd let's out a loud WHAT?

McMahon:So. What do i mean of the "return" of ECW tonight. You see. if we will go back to the time of the ECW in the 90's. it's matches are somewhat... EXTREME. i should say. (Grins) So...

*Crowd lets out a BIG POP.

McMahon: So. if i may call on the competitors for the next match. please.

*Finlay and Hornswoggle's music plays and they made their way to the ring.

Tazz: This Sunday we will see this father and son team try to take the WWE Tag Team Titles from Morrison and The Miz.

McMahon: Ladies and Gentlemen. Please welcome. Finlay and Hornswoggle!

*Morrison's music is played and Morrison with Miz posed for the crowd in the ramp sporting their Titles. they made their way to the ring side by side and staring at Finlay and Hornswoggle.

Adamle: They are the WWE Tag Team Champions and tonight. Morrison will face Finlay one-on-one.

McMahon: Please welcome. the WWE Tag Team Champions!. Morrison and the Miz!.

*Morrison and Finlay stares in the middle of the ring with McMahon between them. While Miz and Hornswoggle is outside of the ring on opposite sides.

McMahon: Woah. Hold on a second there fellows. I brought you two out here for me to make my announcement. because tonight. As i said. we will witness the return of ECW!. because this match and ALL the other matches on ECW from now on... WILL BE COMPETED UNDER EXTREME RULES!. Which means there are NO RULES. Pinfalls count anywhere. All weapons LEGAL..

*Crowd lets out a Massive Pop as chants "ECDub" chants erupted. While Finlay and Morrison nods in agreement from what they heard.

Tazz: Am i hearing correctly?!. every match will now be contested under Extreme Rules?!.

McMahon: And as i promise. I have "invited" a "special guest" here tonight. but THAT PERSON. is still not here. So. I'll let you know if he comes. but for the meantime. We will see the first match contested in the "New ECW".

*McMahon exits the ring with "No Chance in Hell" in the background. As he exits. the music is cut and Finlay vs Morrison is set.

Finlay vs. John Morrison

[color:6d13="Indigo"]Finlay and Morrison jogs around the ring. The Miz and Hornswoggle cheering them on. They lock up on the middle of the ring. Finlay was pinned in the corner but he overpowers Morrison sending them back in the middle of the ring. Morrison then locks the head of Finlay around his arms. Finlay counters with a Irish Whip and shoulder tackles Morrison sending him in the canvas. Finlay then drops a elbow to the chest of Morrison then stomps away at him. but then the Miz distracts Finlay by going on the apron. but Finlay gives him a punch to the head. The referee then warns Miz but this is Extreme Rules. The distraction however allowed Morrison to recuperate and as soon as Finlay turns over to work on Morrison. he was greeted by a dropkick sending Finlay over the top rope. Morrison followed Finlay. he grabs Finlay by the hair and Irish whipped him to stairs knees first. Hornswoggle then checks on his father. Morrison then trash talks Finlay and Hornswoggle. and posing for the crowd with The Miz. but while they are posing. Hornswoggle grabbed a Singapore Cane under the ring and climbed the apron. as soon as Morrison turns around. Hornswoggle jumped and hitted Morrison on the head sending him down on the floor. he then hits the Miz on the back and continues to hit Miz while his down. Finlay then stood up and grabbed his shillelagh and hits Morrison across the face. then rolls Morrison inside the ring. He then picks him up and hits the Celtic Cross. Finlay covers Morrison. 1...2...3. Finlay wins.

Tony Chimel: Here is your winner. Finlay.

Adamle: Finlay picks up the win in the first match of the "New ECW".

Tazz: Finlay and Hornswoggle has a lot of momentum going in to Night of Champions. Morrison and Miz better worry about losing the titles. cause after that match. it made me think.

*COMMERCIAL*

The show then comes back from the commercial and we see Teddy Long on his office reading some documents. Then Mr. McMahon comes in. He shakes the hand of Teddy.

Long: Holla. Mr. McMahon!. glad your here at ECW. and i tell you. That announcement you made earlier. that was EXTREME. playa.

McMahon: Thank you. Teddy. But im here not because of your compliments to my decisions i make. Im here to remind you that last week. the deal that we had. has expired.

Long looks nervous. but he has several documents he handed to McMahon to read.

Long: Oh. that. Uhh. Mr. McMahon. I am very pleased to let you know that ECW has improved it's ratings since i became GM. and that documents are ratings data.

Vince looks at it. but not seemed very impressed.

McMahon: Well. it's still not that good. what did i tell you?. ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONN-AAY. since you haven't held your end of the bargain. Mr. Long. YOUR FIRRRREDDDD!!.

Long is surprised but not appealed either to Mr. McMahon. Then the camera switches to the arena.

Adamle: What the?. Did you see that? Mr. Long has been fired by Vince!.

Tazz: What's going on? Who's gonna be our General Manager now?.

Chimel: The following match is scheduled for one fall.

Tommy Dreamer's music hits. He comes out with Colin Delaney and makes their way to the ring

Chimel: Introducing first. Being accompanied by Colin Delaney. TOMMY DREAMER!.

Tazz:Dreamer's pumped up and ready to go.

Mike Knox's music plays and walks out on a determined look on his face. he brings a chair with him.

Chimel: And his opponent, Mike--

Knox tries to hit Dreamer with a chair but Dreamer dodges and speared Knox on the center. the bell rings and the match is underway.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Mike Knox

[color:6d13="Indigo"]Dreamer punches away to the head of Knox as Knox tries to cover his head from Dreamer's onslaught. Knox then pushed Dreamer away. as Knox stumbles and gets up. Dreamer runs toward Knox but he got hit by a big time boot in the face.

Adamle: Well. Tommy has been hot on the start of the match but that boot to the face of Knox sends him down.

Tazz: But don't count him out yet. He's an ECW Original you know and this kind of matches are his specialty.

[color:6d13="Indigo"]Knox stomps away on Dreamer. then drops elbows to the spine of Dreamer. He picks up Dreamer on the hair then dropping him face first via a DDT. Dreamer wrenches his head in pain. Knox then grabs the chair and taunts Dreamer to get up. Dreamer stumbles to his feet and steel meets skull as Dreamer takes that chairshot to the head. Knox then drops the chair he looks on the body of Dreamer. he then slides out of the ring and reaches under the ring. he grabs a Trash Can with a lid on it. He toss it inside the ring causing the lid to open and inside was a variety of weapons. he then slides back. this momentary rest for Dreamer was capitalized by him. as he grabs a baseball bat that is wrapped in barbed wire. as Knox is approaching Dreamer. Dreamer hits him on the gut. Knox grabs his guts on pain. Dreamer then hits Knox on the back causing Knox to fall in the mat. Dreamer then grabs a Singapore Cane inside the trash can. He raises it in the air while screaming "E-C-W!". then hitting Knox all over. marks appear at Knox's back and body. Knox is screaming in pain. Dreamer then empties the trash can. then picks up Knox. He locks Knox on a front facelock positioning near the trash can. He then delivers a Dreamer Driver on the trash can. Dreamer sits up. then lets out a grin. he covers Knox. 1..2..3.

Chimel: Here is your winner. Tommy Dreamer!

Adamle:God what a match that was!.

Tazz: That's ECW for you baby!. The ECW Original wins over a New Breed.

Mike Knox is still not moving after that Dreamer Driver to the trash can. and Colin and Dreamer was celebrating in the ring. Dreamer then looks on Knox's motionless body. He grabbed another Singapore Cane then whacks the hell out of Mike Knox. as the referee is trying to stop Dreamer. Dreamer hits the referee too then continues to assault Mike Knox. marks begin to show on Knox's body. Delaney then tried to calm down Dreamer. but rushing in adrenaline he attempts to hit Delaney in the head. Delaney falls in the ring begging Dreamer to not take the shot. Dreamer then drops the cane and looks frustrated. he exits the ring and goes to the back.

Tazz: What the hell just happened?!.

Adamle: Tommy Dreamer just viciously assaulted the hell out of Mike Knox. then hits the referee with the Kendo Stick. and attempts to hit Colin!. What has happened to Dreamer?.

Tazz: Maybe the Extreme Rules awakened something inside Tommy that has been asleep for a long time.

*COMMERCIAL*

We're on the ECW Locker Room. we see Tommy. who is now calm and just sitting. he is removing the tape on his fist that he used during the match. We see Colin coming in and staring on Tommy. Tommy stands out looking disappointed.

Delaney: What happened to you out there. Tommy? I mean you tried to hit me--

Dreamer:Look man. I am so sorry. Extreme Rules matches are my kind of matches. I just got carried away man.

Delaney: Man. C'mon. This is the New ECW. This is a more civilized kind of ECW. and i disagree in those Extreme Rules matches. and i don't like Mr. McMahon making matches Extreme Rules--

Dreamer: (Frustrated) Listen to me. Kid. I AM ECW. I live and breath ECW. No one ever loved ECW as much as i do!. and if you ever used ECW's name in vain. I will show how to respect E-C-W.

*Crowd Chants ECW.

Dreamer walks out of the scene and we see Colin on a puzzled look. then grinned.

Tazz: Intense moment there. Mike.

Adamle: Is the partnership between Colin and Tommy falling apart?.

Tazz: I don't know but later tonight we will see Mark Henry. the newest acquisition of ECW. go one-on-one against the ECW Champion. Kane

Adamle: Oh yeah. and don't forget. every match now in ECW will be in Extreme Rules as announced earlier by Mr. McMahon. and we are yet to see the "Special Guest" of Mr. McMahon later tonight.

Tazz: I still don't know who the hell is he or she. Oh baby. I can't wait!.

Adamle: Yeah. but now we will take a look on what happened yesterday at the WWE Draft at RAW.

and matches for the Night of Champions PPV

Booyaka 619 was played in the arena with a HUGE POP. Rey Mysterio is on his street clothes. waving and slapping hands with the crowd. and gets inside the ring.

Chimel:Ladies and Gentlemen. Please welcome. the newest member of the ECW Roster. Rey Mysterio!.

Adamle: Rey Rey is Back to FCW!.

Tazz: ECW. Mike.

Adamle: I mean ECW. my bad.

Tazz: (laughs)

Crowd pop and chants ECW and 619

Mysterio: What's up HOUSTON?!.

Crowd pops out LOUD.

Mysterio: It's amazing to be part of the ECW Roster once again!.

Crowd chants ECW

Mysterio: I miss that chant. (smiles)

Crowd chants it even louder.

Mysterio: Well. it's great to be back to where i came from. it's great to be in a familiar territory. It's great to see Tazz there at the commentating booth. i don't know about Mike.

Crowd laughs.

Mysterio: Nah. I am just messing. I think your doing a good job. Mike. keep it up. Well. Im here to tell you all that i miss performing in front of you. and im looking forward to being the next ECW Champ--

As Mysterio is talking. "Ohh Chavo" hits the arena. Chavo then comes out with his bodyguard. Bam Neely to the boos of the crowd. they taunt them and comes inside the ring.

Chavo: Just who the hell do you think you are?

*Heat

Chavo: Your the next ECW Champion? (laughs). C'mon Rey. I made you quit on Smackdown. i destroyed your knee. I was that close in ending your career. you should thank me for not making it happen that time. but if you ever. EVER dare to step in my way. i have no problem ending your career.

*More Heat

Rey: Is that so. Chavito?. Well. how about you do it. let's say. right now?

Rey takes down Chavo with the mic and kicks Neely on the guts. Rey then clotheslines Chavo taking him down. Mysterio runs to the ropes but he was greeted by a boot from Neely. Sending Mysterio hard in the mat. then Chavo and Neely double teams Mysterio. stomping away at the defenseless Mysterio. but suddenly a man is running from the ramps. and it's MATT HARDY. He then cleans the house by delivering rights on both Chavo and Bam Neely. Chavo tries to clothesline Hardy. but Hardy dodges it turning it to the side effect. Chavo rolls out of the ring. Bam Neely stands up. he runs at Mysterio but Mysterio sidesteps him and sends Neely on the second rope. Mysterio signs for the 619. and connects it. but that is not enough to bring Neely down. Neely is groggy and as soon as he turns to Hardy. He was punished by a "Twist of Fate" from Hardy. Hardy taunts them to come back but Chavo replies "Your ass and your US Championship is mine!".
