PostSubject: Re: WWE: A New Beginning   Sat Aug 02, 2008 7:01 pm

I have some very bad news regarding this thread. Unfortunately for Riggs, his laptop has completely malfunctioned, so he left me a message from his mum's computer, telling me that he will be unable to do anything until it is fixed. He hopes that it is nothing big, but until he brings it in, he is unsure, meaning that unfortuantely, there will have to be a wait for the Great American Bash to be up. I have decided to post all the shows up to the Great American Bash, meaning two Smackdown's and only the one Raw.

A video package starts, replaying what transpired on last week's Main Event. When that ends, an all new opening video plays, set to the tune of Black Stone Cherry's "Lonely Train." The video comes to an end, and we enter the Continental Airlines Arena...

CRASH BOOM BANG! The fireworks set off all around the arena, the camera showing off all the excited fans holding up their signs. We go to ringside, where we are ready to kick off the first match of the night!

Deuce and Domino's music hits, and the duo steps out to loud boos because of what happened during their match last week. We cut away from the live action, and a replay is played with "1 Week Ago" displayed at the bottom. We see Deuce holding back the rope right when CM Punk was about to grab it, and he was forced to tap out. We cut back to ringside, where the team is in the ring, ready to go.

How Do You Like Me Now? The fans give a low pop to the returning Hardcore Holly, who was injured a couple of months ago do to a shoulder injury. He slaps a few of the fans hands before sliding into the ring.

Kofi Kingston's music hits, and the dangerous Jamaican steps out, with that same demonic look that he had when he destroyed Jamie Noble on Raw. He walks down the ramp, his Cruiserweight Title dangling from his hand. He drops the title on the ground, and hops onto the apron, before hopping over the ropes and into the ring. He has an argument with Holly about who should start the match, but Hardcore Holly gave up when Kofi started talking very quickly in his heavy Jamaican accent. Kofi takes a satisfied step back, and stares at Deuce. The bell rings, and this match is underway!

Kofi and Deuce went back and forth for a little bit, before Deuce injured himself after attempting a cross body from the top. When Kofi rolled out of the way, Deuce landed on his wrist, and hasn't been able to move it since. Now Kofi has Deuce cornered, and is lighting him up with different combinations of elbows, chops, and knees. He whips him into his corner, and tags in Holly. Holly whips Deuce across the ring, and nails him with a picture perfect dropkick to the face. Hardcore goes for the pin, but Deuce kicks out.

Holly lifts Deuce up, and goes for the Alabama Slam, but Deuce reverses into a sunset flip pin. Holly kicks out at two, but immediately gets on his feet and kicks Deuce in his injured hand. Hardcore picks up Deuce, and takes him down with a suplex. He goes for the pin, but Domino breaks it up just a half a second away from three. Domino and Hardcore face off, and Hardcore smacks Domino across the face. Domino is about to retaliate, but gets dropkicked out of the ring by Kofi. Kofi bounces off the ropes and vaults out of the ring, taking out Domino. Back in the ring, Hardcore Holly is working on Deuce's arm. Kofi is back on the apron, and is getting tired of hanging around. Holly goes to bounce off the ropes, but Kofi NAILS Holly in the head with powerful roundhouse kick! Holly falls out of the ring, and Kofi is now the legal man! Kofi enters the ring, and hits the Trouble in Paradise on Deuce! He hooks the leg for the three, and this one is OVER!

Kofi grabs his belt, and walks up the ramp, sharing a long stare with his "partner" Hardcore Holly. Holly uses the steps to pull himself up, and is clutching the back of his head.

We cut backstage and see Jesse & Festus standing in front of the camera. Jesse has a huge smile on his face, and Festus has that same look he always does.

Jesse: Hey ya'll! Jesse and Festus here! I know we haven't been around for a while now, but that's because Festus had to go to the dentist! It wasn't fun, poor Festus got one of his front teeth pulled! They said it was "rotting" and that he should brush his teeth. Those dentists think they know everything...with their fancy grammar school educations, and their fancy shoes...anyway, Festus heard a bell when the assistant banged one of those sharp thingies on the counter! Festus nearly killed the dentist before I calmed him down! Isn't that right Festus?

Festus quickly smiles and makes a noise that's supposed to be a laugh, but sounds more like a dying cat. Jesse laughs and nods.

Jesse: See, even HE thinks it's funny!

Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch walk into the shot. They begin to mock Festus.

Cade: Hey Murdoch, get the camera. We could send some pictures out and say we've found a new unknown species.

Murdoch laughs and starts to sing...

Murdoch: Wellllll...we've found a new species...his name is Festus...He can't count to four...and he's really really poor.. OOOOOH FESTUS!

Cade: Murdoch...Mur-TREVOR SHUT THE HELL UP.

Murdoch stops singing, and Jesse smiles.

Jesse: That was really good Trevor, where'd you learn to sing?

Murdoch: I never actually learned...just came to me really.

Cade: Don't...don't encourage him.

Cade looks at Festus.

Cade: Actually you know what...that WAS really good. How about I give you a beat, and you sing to it...

Cade picks up two pipes...and slams them together, causing a loud ringing sound. Festus screams, causing Cade and Murdoch to run away. We can hear Cade laughing in the distance.

Murdoch: What the hell did ya do that for?

We see Festus screaming still, and he raps his hands around the throat of a passing staff member.

Jesse- Festus! Festus no! You put him down!

Festus has the staff member lifted off the ground, and Jesse picks up the two pipes and bangs them together, breaking Festus out of his trance. Festus drops the staff member, who is petrified. Jesse leans down next to the man.

Jesse: You alright buddy?

Jesse sniffs the air around the man and he becomes disgusted.

Jesse: What in the world...what is that smell?

The man looks horrified and quickly runs into a nearby bathroom. Jesse gets back up and pats Festus on the back.

Jesse: Those two really burn my bum...let's go to Teddy Bear's office and see if he'll give us a match with them two.

Jesse drags Festus out of the shot.

We come back to ringside and see Super Crazy and Snitsky already in the ring. The referee rings the bell, and Snitsky big boots the SHIT out of Super Crazy! Crazy goes flying over the ropes and down to the floor. Snitsky exits the ring, and lifts Super Crazy up by his throat. He lifts him off the ground, and THROWS him at the Spanish announcers! Super Crazy slides across the table and kicks Jose right in the face! The innocent announcer is knocked out, and Snitsky continues his brutal assault. The referee has reached 10, but Snitsky isn't letting up.

Now he's driving elbows and fists into Super Crazy's face. He lifts him up by the hair, and drags him over to the steel steps. Snitsky picks Super Crazy up by his clothing, and RAMS him headfirst into the steel steps! Super Crazy is bleeding from the top of his head like a stuck pig, and Snitsky is delivering boots straight into his face. Snitsky grabs the steel steps, and DROPS IT RIGHT ONTO SUPER CRAZY'S STOMACH! Dear god! Super Crazy's coughing up blood, and
is struggling to get the giant step off of him.

Snitsky pulls it off, and sets it up on the outside. He tosses Super Crazy into the ring, who tries to crawl away. Snitsky grabs him by his boot and enters the ring. He picks him up and hoists him into a powerpomb position...oh no...no...NO SNITSKY DON'T DO IT! SNITSKY POWERBOMBS SUPER CRAZY OUT OF THE RING AND ONTO THE STEEL STEPS! Jesus christ!

Snitsky exits the ring, finally satisfied. He flashes a sick, twisted, and yellow smile at Super Crazy's lifeless body. EMT's come rushing down the ramp, and Snitsky big boots one! He clotheslines the rest of them, and throws one off the stage through the tables below! Good god! Snitsky exits through the curtain, leaving the fans shocked and speechless as the show fades to it's first commercial.

***Commercial***

Smackdown returns from the break, and we see a "Moments Ago" package, showing what just happened to Super Crazy and the EMT's. After that finishes we see Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin backstage. Benjamin has his right side of his face, so the public doesn't see the deformed side of his face.

Haas: Last week, something happened to my partner that neither of us will ever forget. My partner has possibly been scarred for life, his face may never be the same. If you didn't see what happened...take a look at the footage.

Charlie Haas turns around and a video starts to play on the screen behind them. We see Hawkins punching Benjamin in the jaw with the brass knuckles, and it replays three times. The video stops playing, and Haas looks at the camera. All this time, Benjamin hasn't budged.

Haas: Those punks-

Benjamin turns so the shattered side of his face is towards the camera.

Benjamin: What you two did to me...It will always be the first thing I think about when I wake up, and the last thing I think about when I go to sleep. Not only have you shattered my face...you've...you've shattered me as a person. You've shattered the only good I had left in my soul, and it's been replaced by anger...by rage...and my only goal now is revenge. I am now a man on a mission...What's my exact mission? Where does it start, when does it end? Well that...That I can't tell you. But what I can tell you is that you are my primary targets.

Benjamin and Haas walk off the shot, and we go to ringside, and are ready to start the second match of the night.

Jimmy Wang Yang's music hits, and the cowboy limps out from behind the curtain, followed by Shannon Moore. They walk down the ramp, slapping a few of the fans hands before sliding into the ring. They go into their corner, and wait for their opponents.

Edge's theme starts to play, and The Edgeheads step out, to LOUD boos. We cut from the action to show another "1 Week Ago" video package, that shows Curt Hawkins shattering Shelton Benjamin's jaw with the brass knucks. When we go back to live action, the Edgeheads are in the ring, with mic in their hands. The team of Moore & Yang look like their ready to kick their asses, but Hawkins calms them down.

Hawkins: You know...me and Zach were thinking about it the other day. Who came up with the name "Edgeheads?" I just seems so...well...how do I put this nicely...

Ryder: It's complete and utter DOG SHIT.

Hawkins: Ok...A little bit much but basically that's EXACTLY what it is. Edgeheads sounds like some schoolyard gang name. I...I mean...WE came up with a good name. The Rated R Superstars!

The fans boo. Jimmy Wang Yang grabs a mic.

Yang: Whoa whoa whoa, hang on a minute partners. You mean you just ripped off your master's nickname and added an "S" to it right?

The fans cheer as Ryder and Hawkins look at each other.

Hawkins: I thought I told you to stay in your corner and keep your mouth SHUT!

Hawkins NAILS Jimmy in the face with the mic! Moore pounces on Ryder, and this match the third match of the night has been started!

After a few minutes of brawling, the ref finally was able to break them up. Jimmy Wang Yang and Ryder are now alone in the ring. They go to lock up, but Ryder takes out Jimmy's injured leg with a swift dropkick. He starts stomping it on his ankle, and drops a big knee on his leg. Ryder goes for the pin, but Jimmy kicks out right before the 2. Ryder picks him up, and whips him across the ring, but Jimmy collapses halfway there, his leg not able to support him. He uses the ropes to pull himself up, but Ryder dropkicks him again right on his kneecap.

Jimmy falls to one leg, and now Ryder is punching him square in the face with hard punches. Shannon Moore has had enough of this, and takes out Ryder with a big cross body from the top rope! Hawkins comes into the ring, and clotheslines Shannon Moore to the outside! Both men topple over the top rope, and begin brawling. Ryder kicks Jimmy in the face, and goes for the pin, only to get a two count. The ref is so busy inside he ring, he doesn't notice Hawkins nail Moore with a chair on the outside!

Back in the ring, Ryder goes for a sidewalk slam, but Jimmy reverses it into a head scissors takedown! Ryder flies across the ring, but is handed a pair of brass knucks from Hawkins! Ryder is about to nail Jimmy when Shelton and Haas slide into the ring with steel chairs!

Shelton THROWS the chair at Ryder, who immediately collapses. Hawkins slides into the ring with a chair also, and swings at Haas' head, but Haas ducks and takes him out with a BIG German Suplex to the outside! Shannon is now on his feet, and is mounting the top rope. He measures Hawkins, and lands a HUGE 450 Splash! Back in the ring, Shelton and Haas are kicking Ryder HARD in the jaw.

Shelton picks up the pair of brass knuckles, and Benjamin punches Ryder as hard as he possibly can in the face! Ryder is knocked out immediately, the top of his head is busted open, his eye immediately bruised and swollen. Benjamin doesn't show mercy though, and repedeatly punches Ryder in the face with the brass knuckles! Haas tries to pull Benjamin away, but Benjamin won't give up. FINALLY security rushes down to the ring, and pulls Shelton away. EMT's rush down to the ring, and immediately assist Ryder.

We cut backstage, where we see a shattered window. We peer over the edge of the window, where we see Matt Hardy beaten to a bloody pulp, and handcuffed to a locker. He is barely breathing, and every time he takes a breath he drools blood. He's in a daze, and we can hear the cameraman calling for help. On Matt Hardy's chest, a big X is written in blood. We take one last look at Matt Hardy's bloody body before taking our second commercial break.

When we come back we are treated to the Raw Rebound, which shows highlights of the Main Event on Raw, and how Jeff Hardy pinned his GAB opponent after hitting a picture perfect Swanton Bomb.

When we come back, The Miz' theme song hits, and The Miz steps out to soft boos. He cockily makes his way down the ramp, before sliding into the ring and waiting for his opponent.

The fans cheer when CM Punk's music hits, and the Straightedge Superstar steps out. We cut away to show you the situation between Matt Hardy and CM Punk. First there's a video of Matt Hardy hitting the ropes on accident, causing CM Punk to lose his balance on the top rope, followed by the amazing Top Rope Twist of Fate. Then, there's another video displaying what happened in the tag match last week, where Deuce pulled the rope away from CM Punk right when he was about to grab it. We go back to live action, where CM Punk is in the ring, ready to start the match.

CM Punk and The Miz lock up. Punk pushes Miz into the corner, before getting pushed away by the ref. The two lock up again, and this time Miz pushes Punk into the corner. Miz is pushed away by the ref, but quickly slaps Punk in the mouth. Miz backs away with a wide grin on his face, but it is wiped away when Punk roundhouse kicks Miz in the face. Miz falls back, and Punk goes for the pin, but only gets a two.

Punk lifts Miz up, and whips him across the ring. Punk goes for a dropkick, but Miz stops short, and Punk lands flat on his face. Miz jumps up and drops an elbow to Punk's lower back. He rolls Punk over and goes for the pin, only to get a two count.

Miz picks Punk up, and goes to irish whip him, but Punk reverses, sending Miz across the ring once again. Punk drops down, expecting Miz to hop over him, but Miz once again hops up and drops an elbow into Punk's lower back. Miz drags him over to the corner, and starts pounding him with punches and elbows. Miz bounces off the ropes, and goes his signature turnbuckle clothesline, but Punk dives out of the way, causing Miz to hit the turnbuckle and fall out of the ring. Miz uses the announce table to pick himself up, meanwhile Punk is running across the ring, and goes for a HUGE suicide dive! Miz forgets to catch him, and Punk hits the announce table HARD! Miz gets up, knowing he just blew the spot. Punk is in serious pain, and Miz takes advantage by tossing Punk into the ring. He pulls him out so his head is sticking out. Miz hops on the apron, and jumps, going for a kneedrop, but Punk moves out of the way, causing Miz to hit his knee on the apron and hit the floor! Miz screams, after possibly breaking his knee. Punk brings Miz into the ring, and goes for the pin, but Miz kicks out right before the three.

Punk signals for the GTS, and goes to lift Miz up, but his weak back can't support Miz. Punk drops Miz, and Miz knees Punk in the jaw, and follows up with a neckbreaker. He goes for the pin, but Punk kicks out at two.

Miz is quickly losing his patience and lifts up Punk. He goes to whip him into the turnbuckle, but Punk reverses! Miz hits the turnbuckle, and Punk hits him with the Shining Wizard & Bulldog Combo! Punk lifts up Miz, and goes for the GTS again, but can't do it. Instead, he hooks Miz's arms, and goes for a Tiger Bomb! Punk can't handle it, and DROPS HIM RIGHT ON HIS HEAD! TIGER DRIVER 91!!! Punk is exhausted and drapes his arm on top of Miz. The fans chant along as the ref counts 1...2...3! Punk rolls off of Miz with a look of relief on his face. He gets up, and asks for a mic. He is handed one, and catches his breath before speaking.

Punk: A few minutes ago...Matt Hardy was attacked by somebody. Now I know we may not be seeing eye to eye right now, but Matt has been one of my most dearest friends since I came here, and I want the spineless rat bastard that attacked him to come out and FACE ME LIKE A MAN.

The fans cheer as CM Punk waits for an answer, but the fans stop cheering when CM Punk's music plays. Punk turns around and notices The Miz getting up, and KICKS HIM OUT OF THE RING! Punk turns around and smiles, and that's when the fans start booing.

Punk: That's right everybody boo me. I played all of you pathetic fools, I made you think I was the good guy, I made you turn on Matt Hardy. I had you in the palm of my hand, you were all little puppets dangling from the strings that I held. And I the right moment...I decided to cut those strings and reveal my "master plan."

Punk stops talking and waits for the crowd to quiet down.

Punk: But now there's the question that I know everybody is wondering...Why? Why Punk? Why did the "Straightedge Superstar" who follows all the rules turn on his dearest friend? Rules were made to be broken at the necessary time and place, and this was VERY necessary. You see, after he defeated me, I had two choices. I knew that the next time we faced off there was a small chance I could lose. Yes, I'm admitting it, he is a talented guy, he could beat me. Then the other option was that I play all of you, and when the time was right, I take him out. And quite frankly, the second choice is a better deal to me. Now I have a guaranteed victory at the Great American Bash. This isn't me being cocky, this is me telling the truth. After what I just did to him, it'll take him weeks to recover, possibly a month. He won't be able to walk down that ramp, let alone wrestle me. To make this long story short...at the Great American Bash I'm walking out of there as the United States Champion...and there isn't ANYTHING any of you can do about it.
Punk drops the mic and leaves the ring, absorbing the loud boos from the crowd.

We have to take a quick commercial break, but don't go anywhere, Edge has something to say about Mr. Kennedy humiliating him next!

When we come back to Smackdown there is a "Moments Ago" package showing the shocking events that just took place. When we come back, Edge is standing in front of a door, with two muscular men standing behind him.

Edge: Last week, Mr. Kennedy humiliated me once again. He thinks he can just mess with anybody he wants, without suffering any consequences. Well your "almighty" champion, made a big mistake.

Edge opens the door, and we see Mr. Kennedy tied to a chair with his mouth taped shut!

Edge: Everybody has consequences Champ, everybody has a price to pay, and your's is very...VERY expensive.

Edge nails Kennedy in the face with three hard rights. Edge backs up and kicks Kennedy in the chest, knocking the chair over. Edge rips off the tape, and Kennedy screams.

Kennedy: You SON OF A BITCH!

Edge boots Kennedy in the face repeatedly until he's been busted open and unconscious.

Edge: Do you see this? THIS IS YOUR CHAMPION. THIS IS THE MAN YOU LOOK UP TO.

Edge punches Kennedy in the face five times, even though he is unconscious.

Edge: At the Great American Bash...this is the same picture you will see.

Edge stands over Mr. Kennedy and raises the belt in the air.

Edge: Me standing over a beaten Mr. Kennedy, with my arms raised.

Edge smirks at the camera before we take our final commercial break of the night. The Five Pack Contract Signing is up next!

When we come back from the break, Teddy Long is standing in the ring, where there is a table set up. Teddy starts to speak...

Teddy: Holla, Holla, Holla NEW JERSEY!

The loyal New Jersey fans cheer their heads off.

Teddy: Here in front of me is the contract for the Five Pack match at the Great American Bash!

The fans' cheers grow louder.

Teddy: This match is a NO DQ, NO ELIMINATION, First fall or Submission match! The men in this match include- John Cena, Batista, Triple H, JBL, and the newest entrant, JBL's "hired help" The BIG SHOW!

The fans cheered for Batista, Triple, and Cena, but they had VERY loud boos for JBL and Big Show.

Teddy: So, let's get this contract signing started! Introducing first, the Doctor of Thuganomics, he is the master of the STFU...He is...JOHN...CENA!

The fans have loud cheers and boos for Cena. His music hits, and the cheers/boos grow even louder. Cena runs out from behind the curtain, running to each side of the stage, pumping up this electric crowd. Cena stops at the top of the ramp, and raises his arm to his head, and tosses his hat into the crowd as pyro shoots off behind him. He sprints down the ramp and slides into the ring, giving his "Word-Life" pose to the crowd. Teddy points him to one of the corners, and Cena shakes his hand before going to it.

Teddy: Next...He is the Animal...BATISTA!

Batista's music hits and The Animal steps out to a BIG pop. The Animal is decked out in a full suit. He slowly walks down the ramp, and stops halfway when a fan in the front row yells "DO THE MACHINE GUN!" Batista looks at the young boy who yelled this, and smiles. He taps his leg, and does his shooting while pyro and bursts of flames go off behind him. He smiles one more time at the smiling kid before getting into the ring and hugging Teddy. Batista eyes Cena as he goes to his corner.

Teddy: Next, it's the Self Made Millionaire and the World's LARGEST Athlete...JBL and the BIG SHOW!

JBL's music hits and the two step out to huge boos. JBL does the Long-Horns pose meanwhile Big Show thrusts his massive hand into the air. They make their way down the ramp and get into the ring. JBL eyes Teddy Long before going into his corner.

Teddy: And finally, he is the Cerebral Assassin, The King of Kings...He is THE GAME...TRIPLE...H!

The Game's music hits and the fans give the biggest pop of the night to The Game. He steps out, and instead of doing his normal entrance, he throws the water bottle into the crowd and sprints down the ramp. He slides into the ring and is ready to attack Cena when Long cuts him off.

Teddy: All of you listen up and you listen good. I want a peaceful meeting tonight, you hear me?

Triple H sneers and backs off. Teddy picks up the pen and hands it to Cena.

Teddy: John, would you like to be the first man to sign the contract?

Cena nods.

Cena: It would be my pleasure.

Cena takes the and walks over to the table. Long points to where he needs to sign, and Cena signs. He eyes Triple H before dropping the pen and going back to his corner.

Teddy: Next is Batista!

Batista smiles and signs the contract. He shares a long stare with JBL and Big Show before going back to his corner.

Teddy: Next, Big Show!

Big Show signs the contract, and stands next to JBL.

Teddy: Triple H!
Triple H eyes John Cena the entire time he's signing the contract.

Teddy: And finally...JBL.

Long stares a hole through JBL as he signs the contract. JBL is about to hand Teddy the pen...when he stabs him in the forehead! Batista immediately spears JBL into the corner, and begins hitting him with brutal forearms. Big Show pulls Batista off and plants him with a Big Boot. Triple H goes for his kneelift, but is caught and sent over the ropes and down to the floor. Cena goes for his flying shoulder tackle but is also sent over the top. Triple H slides back into the ring, this time with a sledgehammer. He charges and NAILS Big Show in the gut, knocking all the wind out of him. Big Show topples over the ropes and down to the floor, where Cena has set up the steel steps. He lifts Big Show up...and FU's him onto the steel steps! Good god! He poses for the crowd, and when he turns to go back inside the ring he is met with a sledgehammer shot to the face! Triple H takes advantage and starts punching Cena, meanwhile JBL is starting to fight back against a groggy Batista. Batista is about to punch him back when JBL pokes him in the eye. JBL bounces off the ropes, ready to deliver the Clothesline from Hell, but Batista counters and Spinebusters him through the table! Batista helps up Teddy Long who's forehead is bleeding, and raises his arm in the air. On the outside, Triple H and Cena are still brawling, but we're all out of time! We'll see you next week for the final Smackdown before the Great American Bash!

Monday Night Raw
Last Stop before the Bash!
Rivalries Rekindled

Raw kicks off this week with Lambeg playing, meaning that Finlay and Hornswoggle are making their ways to the ring, which are interestingly their first appearances on Raw since the Draft. Finlay and Hornswoggle get a nice reception from the crowd, before Horny heads under the ring, as Finlay waits in the ring for his opponents. I’m Comin’! then hits to strong heat, as MVP makes his Raw debut. JR and the King confirm that these two are making their debuts as official Raw superstars, as the match gets underway.

Match 1
Finlay w/ Hornswoggle vs. Montel Vontavious Porter

The match was a good affair, with the veteran Finlay having charge of the young (Power Ranger) Superstar in the early going. Finlay nailed MVP with a perfect Vertical Suplex, but an attempted running seated senton was where MVP got the advantage, as he managed to roll out of the way. MVP then kept on the offensive for the majority of the match, nailing Finlay with a German Suplex and an overhead Belly to Belly Suplex, both signature moves of MVP’s. MVP then whipped Finlay into the corner, as the crowd groaned as they knew that he would be going for the Playa’s Boot. MVP charged, but all of a sudden, Hornswoggle came out from under the ring and sprayed Porter with a water gun! The crowd laugh but it soon turns to boos, as MVP goes outside and attacks Hornswoggle! The crowd give huge heat, as he nails little Horny with a Playa’s Boot, knocking the little man out! MVP seems happy with himself, but Finlay saw what happened, and is petrified! Finlay then assaults MVP on the outside, getting revenge. Finlay looks very worried, but he gets on with the match, and one Celtic Cross later, the match was over!

Winner: Finlay

Finlay doesn’t even bother celebrating, as he rushes to the outside where poor Hornswoggle is out cold after being on the receiving end of the Playa’s Boot. We are shown various replays from different angles, and when we return live, Finlay is right by his son’s side, screaming out for him. EMT’s rush down, as JR and the King speak in the tone when JBL destroyed Horny this year, as JR calls MVP a sick bastard. We go to a commercial with the EMT’s escorting Hornswoggle, Finlay crying and still screaming for his son.

*Commercial*

We return from the break with another replay of what happened to Hornswoggle. We are shown Horny being taken out of the arena in the ambulance, as Finlay stays behind, with tears in his eyes. We cut back to JR and the King, who once again talk about how much of a sick man MVP is, destroying Hornswoggle just for playing a little prank. The King then tells us that Todd Grisham is in the back, and has MVP for an interview!

We see Todd Grisham come onto screen and introduces him before moving on to MVP, getting very big heat from the crowd. Grisham asks Montel why he did this to Hornswoggle, and Porter said that he was actually doing this from the good, and to prevent Horny from getting hurt, as the crowd boo. Grisham says that he actually was the one that hurt Hornswoggle, but before MVP could respond, FINLAY came bursting out of nowhere and began ambushing Porter with the shillelagh!

Finlay continues the assault on Porter, smashing the shillelagh repeatedly into MVP’s skull. Grisham flees the scene to let the two go at it supposedly, before Finlay lifts up Porter and nails him with his second Celtic Cross of the night, followed by smashing his head against the steel support poles and then the television set behind them! Before Finlay can do anything else, security rushes in to hold Finlay back, as he tells MVP that he will pay!

*Commercial*

For the first time in Raw’s so far 15 minute telecast, it was not about the new Finlay and MVP saga, but rather we are in Chris Jericho’s and Elijah Burke’s locker room, who get big heat from the crowd once they appear on screen. Jericho is still expressing his disgust about the match for GAB now being a Fatal Four Way match, and how he was screwed out of a one on one match with Mysterio. All of a sudden, Raw General Manager Shane McMahon walks in to a great pop, as Shane O Mac says that it was Jericho’s own fault that it is now a 4 way match at GAB, because he decided to bring Burke into it. Jericho then says that he earned his one on one opportunity with Mysterio, as Shane surprisingly agrees. McMahon then goes on to say that tonight, what could have been would take place tonight, as Jericho would face IC Champion Mysterio in a non title match!

We then go back to JR and the King who talk about that additional match as well as two huge matches announced by Shane before the show, which was the Great American Bash Reversal. This meant that tonight, Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton would rekindle their feud with a one on one match, and Jeff Hardy and the Undertaker would battle it out in a huge main event. There are corresponding graphics that come up on the screen, with the crowd giving a great pop for the Orton/HBK match, before they went completely apeshit for the Hardy and Undertaker match. We are about to go to a commercial break, before JR tells us that up next, London, Kendrick and Tommy Dreamer would team up to go against William Regal, Paul Burchill and Chavo Guerrero!!

We return from the break with Rocker playing to a pretty big pop, the exciting tag team of London and Kendrick run and slide in to the ring in their normal fashion. Extreme then hits to an equally big pop, as the former ECW Original Tommy Dreamer makes his way to the ring, as he embraces his partners, who are the number 1 contenders for the World Tag Team Championships this Sunday for the Bash. Rule Britannia then hits to very large heat, as the foreign UKonnection stable is lead to the ring by William Regal and Paul Burchill, who would be representing their team tonight. Chavo Ardiente then hits to smaller heat but still reasonable, as Chavo Guerrero makes his way to the ring, bad mouthing the fans before eventually greeting his teammates.

Six Man Tag Team Match
William Regal, Paul Burchill and Chavo Guerrero w/UKonnection vs. London, Kendrick and Tommy Dreamer

This was also another great match, which was basically just to further the feuds between Chavo/Dreamer and Londrick/UKonnection. London and Guerrero agreed to start off for their respective teams, but eventually, London tagged in Dreamer and the fun began. The two went for a fair bit of time, with Chavo getting the advantage when Dreamer went to bounce off of the ropes, but Regal stuck his knee up and Dreamer went down. The heels dominated for a fair bit of team (which is typical in these types of matches), but an opening came when Burchill went for a Twisted Sister, Tommy reversed into his own neckbreaker. Kendrick then made his way to the ring, as Burchill tagged in Regal. After a couple of minutes with the two in action, hell broke loose, with London and Burchill going to the outside and once again, Dreamer and Chavo destroyed each other once again. This left Kendrick and Regal, but when Brian went for a Springboard High Angled Crossbody, Regal nailed him with a sick knee to the head! Regal then locked in the Regal Stretch, and it was all over before London or Dreamer could intervene.

Winners: William Regal, Paul Burchill and Chavo Guerrero

After the match, DH Smith helped Paul Burchill on the outside, but he made a mistake, as when he went to give London a lariat, Paul ducked and Smith nailed Burchill! Smith is shocked, but he is soon knocked out by a Dropsault from London, but London tops the Dropsault off with a Moonsault to Burchill while he was still in the air! Regal is ambushing Kendrick, and Dreamer and Chavo have brawled out of sight. London then hooped up onto the apron, and when Regal turned around, London leapt up, and nailed Regal with a Springboard Hurricanrana, as the crowd pop huge! Kendrick then goes to his hands and knees, and London jumps off and nails a Shooting Star Press! The crowd give Londrick a great ovation, as the two make their way to the back, looking like the favourites ahead of the Great American Bash.

*Commercial*

We return from the break where the camera is in London and Kendrick’s dressing room, who are all smiles even after they lost the six man tag team match, since they once again beat down the UKonnection after the match. Shane McMahon then walks into their room to a very big ovation from the crowd, and Shane O Mac congratulates for getting the better of the UKonnection. Shane goes onto say that for twice in two weeks, he has changed a GAB match, which hopefully the crowd thinks, is for the better. McMahon then says that he has added a stipulation to the Bash match, as the Tag Team Championship match is now a LADDER MATCH! The crowd gives an astonishing pop, as Londrick smirk at each other. The two thank the GM, as we go back to ringside.

JR and the King talk about the added stipulation to the Tag Team Championship match, as they say that this match could steal the show. Before they can say anything else, however, Sexy Boy hits to a huge ovation, as the ‘Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels steps out, doing his standard entrance, ready for his match. Voices by Rev Theory then hits to huge heat, as one member of Sunday’s main event Randy Orton heads to the ring to face off against his former nemesis. JR and the King discuss the history between the two, such as when Randy nearly ended Shawn’s career.

Great American Bash Reversal Match #1
Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton

The match picked up from where the two left off at the end of last year. The two had great chemistry, obviously because of their many previous encounters, including when Shawn Michaels was feuding with Evolution. Onto the match, Randy was being dominated in the early going, as Michaels worked over Orton with various chops and suplexes. HBK was in control for the first 5 minutes, until Randy caught him out of nowhere with a Powerslam. Randy then worked over Michaels, but when Randy went for a Superplex, HBK pushed him off, and nailed him with a flying Crossbody, knocking both men down. The bout then went for a fair bit of time, both men getting an equal amount of offense in, and each man nailed their signature moves. A RKO attempt from Orton was pushed away from Michaels, and then HBK nailed Orton with an Atomic Drop. Then, one scoop slam later, HBK was on the top rope, and hit his former enemy with a Flying Elbow Drop! Shawn then started tuning up the band, ready for the Sweet Chin Music, but all of a sudden, the LIGHTS WENT OUT! When they came back on, Taker was interestingly nowhere, and HBK was looking for him. He decided that he wasn’t coming, but when he turned around, he walked straight into a devastating RKO! 1...2...3!

Winner: Randy Orton

The Undertaker has cost his Great American Bash opponent the win! Randy then poses to the crowd, and screams out that he would be the next WWE Champion. Orton heads to the back, full of glee because of this huge win over a veteran and one of Raw’s main eventers. The crowd give the 3rd Generation Superstar huge heat, although Orton doesn’t seem to care. Michaels gets up and is furious at the Undertaker, and he would most certainly be looking for revenge later tonight.

We return from the break with the Smackdown Lowdown, where we are shown the Contract Signing for the Fatal 5 Way for GAB between JBL, his Hired Help the Big Show, John Cena, Triple H and Batista. It shows Bradshaw stabbing Theodore with the pen, before the all out brawl erupts. Cena and Triple H are the last men standing, but the two continue brawling as Smackdown went off the air.

As soon as the Smackdown Lowdown finishes, it is time for JR and the King to do the plugging of the PPV, which is this Sunday. The announcers heavily hype the WWE Championship match, and also Smackdown’s World Title match between Edge and the WHC Mr. Kennedy (the card is at the end of the show).

Booyaka then hits to a wondrous ovation, as the high flying Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio comes out from the curtain, without John Morrison. JR tells us that this match has been made a No Interference match by Shane O Mac and that if anyone interferes, they would be removed from the IC Title Match. Break the Walls Down then hits to big heat, as Y2J Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring, as he seems to get more momentum from the reaction.

Non Title Contest
Chris Jericho vs. Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio

This match showcased what could have been at the Great American Bash, and also to hype the Fatal 4 Way match which these two are in. The match was a great match, and it was even better since there was no interference. Rey nailed Jericho with a Wheelbarrow Bulldog followed by a Slingshot Crossbody from the apron, but Jericho got his foot on the rope to break up the three count. Jericho also nearly got the win, as he moved when Rey attempted a Moonsault, and he quickly followed with a one handed Bulldog. Jericho then placed one foot on top of Mysterio and then yelled Come on Baby while flexing his muscles inward, but the lacklustre cover proved costly. Jericho then nailed Mysterio with all of his signature moves, including a Springboard Dropkick while Rey was on the apron, knocking him out of the ring. JR and the King hype this match as What would have been, referring to that the GAB match is now a Fatal 4 Way. Jericho worked over Rey for the next couple of minutes, but the end came when he went for a Walls of Jericho. Jericho seized Rey’s legs, but Rey didn’t allow him to turn him over into the devastating move. Rey had enough power in his legs to push him off, causing Jericho to bounce off of the ropes. Rey then sprung up, and gave Rey a Hurricanrana, causing Jericho to go in between the second and third ropes! 619! Jericho was on his back, and Rey nailed the Drop the Dime!

Winner: Rey Mysterio

Rey gets huge momentum before his title defence at the Great American Bash. JR and the King say that if the match at the Bash hadn’t changed, Rey would be walking out of Sunday as the Intercontinental Champion. Rey climbs up to the top rope and celebrates, but to Rey’s confusion, their reaction soon turns to heat, as Elijah Burke comes charging down, and goes to assault Rey. John Morrison is right there before Burke could hit an Elijah Express, as the heels retreat up the ramp, with Rey and John urging them to get back in the ring.

We return from the break where we are in the UKonnection’s locker room, who are expressing their disgust in Shane’s decision to make the World Tag Team Championship match a Ladder Match, and Regal calls him racist, to laughs from the crowd. Regal then says that he is scared of heights, and that Smith and Burchill would have to go in the match. Smith and Burchill are fine with that, but Regal continues on his humorous panic attack, saying that they are going to lose the titles because of Shane, and keeps repeating himself in heavy breathes as the crowd laughs. Smith then tells him to calm down, because if Regal forgot, ladder matches are no disqualifications, as all 5 members give smirks and the crowd gives heat.

It is one again time for the announcers to hard sell the Great American Bash, now focussing on the huge Dream Street Fight match between Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, before a video package plays highlighting how it happened, starting at the Triple Threat match, where Shawn accidentally hit Taker with a SCM. It then shows the Undertaker heel turn when he ambushed HBK with a steel chair and then gave him a Chokeslam. They show what happened in last week’s main event when the two went off through the crowd brawling.

Gong then hits around the arena to big heat although there is still a couple of cheers going around, as The Undertaker makes his way to the ring, doing his very slow entrance. No More Words hen hits to the biggest ovation of the night, as the other half of GAB’s main event Jeff Hardy makes his way to the ring, doing his little dance and slapping hands with the fans. Undertaker does not take his eyes off of Jeff and the bout is underway.

Great American Bash Reversal Match #2
The Undertaker vs. Jeff Hardy

This match was MOTN, and it reminded the audience of their classic Ladder Match a couple of years ago for the WWE Championship. Jeff used his high flying ability to wear down Taker, but when he went for a crossbody over the top rope, Undertaker caught him, got him in a battering ram position, and smashed him head first into the ring post! Undertaker then took advantage, and for the first time in recent memory, the Undertaker was heavily booed for doing the Old School. Taker then attempted to hit Hardy with a patented Chokeslam, but Hardy held his ground and elbowed Taker in the head multiple times, releasing his grip. Hardy then went for a kick to the gut, but Taker held on, only to be met with a mule kick. 15 minutes into the match, Taker and Hardy were down after Jeff’s mule kick. Undertaker was down after taking the high impact move, and Jeff was down after enduring most of the punishment in the match. Undertaker crawled to the corner and was in a seated position, as Jeff got up and looked for his turnbuckle dropkick, but Taker moved AND JEFF CROTCHED HIMSELF ON THE RING POST!! The crowd yell in disgust and despair, as Taker gets him out of the corner, and nails the Last Ride! Taker then climbs over for the cover, but somehow, Jeff grabs the bottom rope!! Taker is furious, so he goes for the Gogoplata, but Jeff rolls over and gets Taker in a pinning predicament, much like Angle vs. Taker at No Way Out 2006! 1...2...NO! Now Taker kicks out! Fans chant This is Awesome! as Taker charges at Jeff going for a Big Boot, but Jeff ducks it, then kicks him in the gut and nails the Twist of Fate! The crowd erupt, and Hardy hooks the leg! 1...2..Taker sits up while in the pin! Taker now has Jeff in his arm, and he hoists him up on his shoulders, going for the Tombstone, but Hardy swings his legs around wildly, and the ref goes down! With no referee, the crowd erupt, as HBK is right behind Undertaker. Michaels pushes Hardy off, and then nails Taker with a SCM! The crowd go wild, as a new ref comes down, Michaels leaves the ring, and Jeff hooks the leg! 1...2...3!

Winner: Jeff Hardy!

Shawn Michaels has returned the favour by costing his Great American Bash opponent the Undertaker with the Sweet Chin Music! Michaels is smirking and heads up the ramp, as Jeff celebrates his victory. All of a sudden, the crowd give huge heat, as Randy Orton comes through the crowd, and is right behind Jeff! Randy taps Jeff on the shoulder, and being the stooge that Jeff is, he turns around, and BAM! RKO!! Randy has just knocked out his opponent in his 6 nights with his finishing manoeuvre! Randy smirks at the fallen Jeff, and stands over him, as the announcers once again hard sell the Great American Bash.

***Opening Segment***
Instead of the normal Smackdown video package opening the show, we see the door to Teddy Long’s office. Inside we hear Triple H’s voice. The camera slowly enters the room, and we see Triple H hovering over Teddy Long’s desk, the GM staring the King of Kings right in the eyes.

Triple H: What do you mean I’m not booked for tonight’s Main Event? I’m not even on the card!

Teddy Long shakes his head.

Teddy: Look, Hunter. I understand your frustration, but there is nothing I can do. The Main Event has already been set; it would be inexcusable to change it. Besides, if I put you in it, it would become a handicap match, and that’s just not fair.

Triple H: So it’s fair to leave me off the card?

Teddy Long shakes his head. He gathers all his files.

Teddy: Look Hunter, there’s nothing I can do. I have a lot of work to do, so I would appreciate it if you leave my office immediately.

Triple H grunts and leaves the office. He smacks the camera out of his face, and we cut away from backstage…

***Opening Video***

The opening video plays set to Black Stone Cherry’s Lonely Train. When it ends, we cut to the arena, where fireworks are on display.

Cole: Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the FINAL edition of Friday Night Smackdown before the Great American Bash! Tonight we have a GIGANTIC Main Event! Tazz, why don’t you tell the fans at home a little bit about it.

Tazz: Will do, Cole. Tonight, it’s going to be #1 Contender Edge, teaming up with JBL and his “hired help” JBL, against World Heavyweight Champion Mr. Kennedy, Batista, and John Cena!

Cole: It’s going to be a blockbuster match for sure, but one thing you may notice is that The Game is absent from this huge match?

Tazz: You’re right Cole, but if there’s one thing I know about the Game, it’s that he won’t take this lying down. Triple H is one to hold a grudge, so let me say this…Teddy Long better watch his back.

We go to ringside, where we are ready to start the first match of the night!

Jesse & Festus vs Cade & Murdoch

“Biscuits & Gravy” hits and Jesse steps out from behind the curtain, dragging Festus by the hand. They walk down the ramp to a mixed reaction, and enter the ring. The two await their opponents.

Lance Cade’s music hits and the two step out to a silent crowd. They enter the ring, and we are ready to get this match underway!

***DING DING DING***

Murdoch and Festus started this one off, after Cade refused to get in the ring with Festus. After the bell rang, Festus went completely ape shit and nearly killed Murdoch, delivering hard punches and forearms. Murdoch was crawling over to Cade, where Festus big booted him square in the head. Murdoch kicked out at two after an attempted pin attempt. Festus whipped Murdoch across the ropes, and planted him with a sloppy chokeslam. He went for another pin, but this time Cade broke it up.

Festus continued his brutal assault on Murdoch, working him over in the corner with more punches and uppercuts. He grabbed him by the throat, and FLUNG him across the ring. Cade, realizing his partner was in trouble, hopped off the apron, and made his way towards the other side of the ring. He knocked Jesse off the apron, and tossed him hard into the steel steps. Jesse wasn’t used to taking bumps like that, so he was down for a longer time than usual. Festus was distracted by this, and leaned over the ropes, trying to grab Cade. Cade’s plan unfolded, and Murdoch took advantage by taking out Festus’ leg with a chopblock. Murdoch starting stomping on Festus’ knee, realizing that the big man can’t go on his rampage without a leg to stand on. Murdoch bounced off the ropes and dropped a big elbow on Festus’ knee. Murdoch stays on Festus, stomping on his ankle and knee before Lance Cade hopped back on the apron. Murdoch tagged him in and Lance seemed eager to take on the downed Festus. He hopped on him, delivering hard punches to his forehead, attempting to bust it open.

He picks Festus up, and whips him across the ropes. He goes for a dropkick, but Festus stops short. Festus follows up with a big leg drop. Festus picks up Cade and whips him across the ring. Cade bounces off the ropes, and ducks Festus’ big boot. Instead of rebounding off the ropes, he dives and tags in Murdoch. He rolls outside of the ring, where the two argue. They’re so busy arguing, they don’t realize Festus coming after them. He grabs both of them by the hair, and flings them into the ring! Cade rolls to the opposite corner, and is met with a big splash from Jesse! Jesse lifts up Cade, and throws him through the second rope, and to the outside! Festus has Murdoch in a powerbomb position, and PLANTS HIM! Murdoch lands hard on his neck. Jesse has already ascended the top rope, and hits Murdoch with a splash! Jesse rolls off and Festus hooks the leg! 1! 2! 3!

Winner(s) via Pinfall- Jesse & Festus!

Murdoch is slowly gaining his senses, and once he is fully up, he sees Cade run in the chair with a chair, charging at Festus! WHACK! The big man topples over, hitting the match face first. The ref leans down next to Festus, and Festus covers his head, and when he rolls over blood is trickling down his face. Murdoch pushes Cade, and leans down along with Jesse and the ref to check on Festus, who is completely out cold. Cade drops the chair, and leaves the ring, pleased with himself as we fade to the first commercial break…

***Commercial Break***

We come back from the break and go to the announce table, where Michael Cole and Tazz are ready to give us an update on Super Crazy’s condition.

Cole: Last week Super Crazy suffered a brutal attack at the hands of Snitsky. He is in critical condition, with broken ribs, a dislocated shoulder, and other minor, but nagging injuries.

Tazz: If you didn’t see what happened to him, let’s take a look. Keep in mind that the events in this video are extremely bloody and graphic.

A “1 Week Ago” video package plays showing the vicious beating Snitsky gave Super Crazy. The video ends, and we go back to Tazz and Cole.

Cole: We will keep you updated on his condition.

***Interview***

We cut backstage, and the fans nearly blow the roof off the arena when we see Mr. Kennedy, standing in front of the camera, his World Heavyweight Title on his shoulder. He has a large bandage on his forehead, most likely from the brutal attack he suffered at the hands of Edge.

Mr. Kennedy: Last week, Edge attempted to humiliate me; he tried to get inside my head. He tried to give me a taste of my own medicine, make me look like a fool. Edge what you don’t understand…is that when you humiliate me, these fans, they’re still cheering for me. So that means, you just make me even more powerful than before. You? You just look like a fool.

Kennedy smiles.

Mr. Kennedy: But enough with the games now, it’s time to get serious. Edge, you can talk about how you’re walking out of Great American Bash with my belt, but there isn’t any chance that is going to happen. I had a little discussion with our fine GM Teddy Long, and he agreed with me that you will do anything to get this belt. That’s why he made our match a Replay Match. What this means, is that the match will keep going until one of us beats each other fair and square. That means, if you do anything illegal, the match will restart itself.

The fans give an immense pop at the announcement.

Mr. Kennedy: That also means that your buddies Hawkins and Ryder are BANNED from ringside!

Kennedy smiles again as the fans cheer.

Mr. Kennedy: So Edge, this Sunday there will be no way out. Either you beat me fair and square…or you won’t beat me at all.

Mr. Kennedy walks out of the shot and we cut back to the ring where Curt Hawkins is standing in the ring, mic in hand.

***In-Ring Segment***

He waits for the crowd to quiet down before speaking.

Hawkins: Last week, Shelton Benjamin took it upon himself to viciously beat my partner, Zack. All of you simple minded FOOLS think it was redemption, but I KNOW it was strategy. Zack won’t be 100% this Sunday, giving Benjamin & Haas the easy win.

Curt pauses as the fans start chanting “World’s Greatest Tag Team!” Curt kicks one of the bottom turnbuckles out of frustration.

Hawkins: LISTEN TO ME…I don’t care what they call themselves, they can call themselves Prophets for all I care, but they are not better than the Rated R Superstars. IT doesn’t matter what percent my partner’s health is at, the fact of the matter is that Benjamin will feel my partner’s pain. This time I won’t just shatter his jaw, I’m going to shatter his entire body, and most importantly…I’m going to shatter his title reign.

Hawkins drops the mic as the fans jeers grow louder. He exits the ring as we fade to commercial…

***Commercial***

We come back from the break to the announcers table, where Michael Cole is getting ready for his interview with Matt Hardy via satellite. We cut to a split screen where we see Matt Hardy with a large bandage on his forehead.

Cole: Ladies and gentlemen we are sitting here with Matt Hardy via satellite. Matt, how are you feeling?

Matt manages to smile.

Matt: I’m feeling better than ever Michael. Some people may think that I feel hurt, that I’m not fit to compete. That’s what the doctors say, but they don’t understand how much CM Punk hurt me. They don’t comprehend the fact that he betrayed my friendship, and he brutally attacked me last week. I don’t care what shape I’m in…this Sunday CM Punk will suffer and this Sunday I will walk out of that arena with the U.S Title around my waist.

Cole: Matt, as far as your physical well-being goes, how dangerous is it or you to step into the ring this Sunday?

Matt: The doctors say I could be risking my career, but I’ve been in worse matches before. Like I said before, I don’t care what shape I’m in, I will get revenge, I WILL NOT DIE.

Cole: Well, Matt, thank you for your time…and good luck this…

Cole is cut off midsentence when CM Punk’s music hits. The fans groan as the Straightedge Superstar steps out from behind the curtain. He gets into the ring, and stares at the titantron, were Matt Hardy’s eyes are filled with fury and rage.

CM Punk: What’s a matter Matt? Wish you could come down here and hit me? I’m sorry to upset you, but that’s just going to have until this Sunday.

CM Punk pauses as the fans boos grow louder.

Matt Hardy: You’re right Punk, I would like to come down to that ring and smack that smug look right off your face, but I can’t. But that’s actually a good thing…you see I let the anger build up inside of me…and come Sunday I let it all out and unleash hell.

CM Punk: Keep running your mouth, Matt. But this Sunday, you won’t be able to hide behind a camera; it’ll be put up or shut up. And after you try and beat me, I’m going to shut you up for good.

The two share a long, hateful stare before we cut to the final commercial break of the night…

***Final Commercial Break***

JBL, Big Show, Edge vs Mr. Kennedy, Batista, John Cena

When we come back from the break, JBL’s music hits and the fans start to boo as the Self Made Millionaire steps out from behind the curtain, his “Hired Help” The Big Show standing tall behind him, cracking his knuckles. They walk down the ramp and get into the ring, waiting for their partner.

The fans boos grow even louder when Edge’s theme blares over the PA system. The Rated R Superstar jumps out onto the stage through a cloud of smoke, before throwing his arms in the air, sending pyro off behind him. He enters the ring, and takes his place next to his partners.
The fans go banana when Batista’s music hits. The Animal steps out onto the ramp, pumping up the crowd. He stops halfway down, and shoots his gun, shooting off the pyro behind him. He stops at the bottom of the ramp, and waits for his “partners.”

The fans quiet down, but they’re cheers are still very loud. They grow even louder when John Cena’s music this, and the Master of the STFU steps out, throwing his arms in the air and forming the “Word Life” symbol. He stops next to Batista, eyeing him, fully knowing that they are partners tonight, but enemies this Sunday.

The fans go absolutely INSANE when they hear the signature “MRRRRRRRRRR KENNNNNEEEDY” fill the arena. Kennedy steps out, with the World Heavyweight Title around his waist. He stares down Edge, not taking his eyes off of him for a second. He stops next to his partners, and all three of them are ready to jump into the ring when The Game’s music hits.

The fans erupt when Triple H steps out, his head hung low, water bottle in hand. He spits out the water, causing the fans cheers to grow even louder. Triple H walks down the ramp, and around ringside, not bothering to do his normal entrance. He instead throws the water bottle into the crowd, and takes a seat in a chair next to the timekeeper. His arms folded, watching his enemies.

Kennedy, Batista, and Cena slide into the ring. Batista and Kennedy take their places on the apron, as does Big Show and Edge. Kennedy hands his belt to the ref, and this match is underway!

Cena and JBL walk up to the center of the ring, and stare each other in the eye. JBL throws the first blow, a hard slap to the face. Cena backs up and smirks, before firing at JBL with a big right hand! JBL steps back, and holds his cheek. He shakes his head, and the two lock up.

Both men struggle for control, but it’s JBL who takes over and locks Cena in a headlock. JBL keeps wrenching on Cena’s head and Cena tries to fight back with elbows and punches to his gut. Cena goes to push JBL off, but JBL keeps the hold locked in. Cena continues striking JBL in the gut, trying to get out of his hold. He goes to push him off again, but this time JBL counters with a headlock takeover. Cena struggles to get off the mat, but JBL’s massive power and weight is keeping him down. Cena’s shoulders hit the mat and the ref counts to one before he quickly lifts one off the mat. He starts to power up, pumping up the fans. Both men are on their feet now, Cena trying to break away…and he does! Cena follows up with a swift kick to the gut. He bounces off the ropes, only to be met with a big boot to the jaw.

JBL immediately hops down and locks Cena in a sleeper. Cena is quickly fading away, struggling to stay conscious. He’s waving his arms frantically, trying to find a way out of the hold. He starts to get to his feet again, and starting hitting JBL with stiff elbows in the stomach. JBL finally releases the hold and Cena hits a DDT! The fans erupt as Cena gets back to his feet, eyeing the groggy JBL. JBL slowly gets to his feet, and Cena takes him down with a BIG flying shoulder tackle! Both men quickly get back to their feet, and Cena takes him down with a clothesline! Cena bounces off the rope, and hits JBL with a big time leg drop! Cena hops to his feet, and stands over the fallen JBL. John Cena thrusts his hand into the air and the fans know what’s next! YOU CAN’T SEE ME! Cena goes to bounce off the ropes, but is kneed in the back from Edge! Cena collapses to his knees, giving JBL the opportunity to big boot Cena in the face! JBL tags in Edge, who gets in and starts stomping Cena in the gut.

Edge lifts Cena up and whips him across the ring. Cena hits the turnbuckle chest first and Edge follows up with a dropkick to the back of the head. Cena once again hits the turnbuckle, and is met with a schoolboy rollup, but he kicks out at two. Edge picks Cena up, and lifts him into a suplex position. Edge throws him off, and Cena lands on the rope gut first. Cena is hanging off the ropes, trying to get off, but gets kicked in the face! Cena falls off the ropes and to the outside, where the ref starts the ten count. Inside the ring, Kennedy and Edge are trash talking each other. Kennedy notices Cena getting back into the ring, and continues distracting Edge. Cena spins Edge around, and lifts him up for the F-U! Edge pokes Cena in the eye, and Edge goes for the Spear! CENA MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! Edge hits turnbuckle in his opponent’s corner, and Cena tags in Kennedy! Kennedy lifts up Edge, and hits the Steamroller! Kennedy jumps to his feet and yells, pumping up the already electric crowd. Edge is getting to his feet, and Kennedy charges at him, but Edge dives to his corner and tags in Big Show! Kennedy takes a step back and tells the big man to bring it on. Big Show steps over the ropes and is now standing toe-to-toe with Kennedy. Big Show pushes Kennedy, and Kennedy smacks Show across the mouth! Big Show retaliates with a HUGE right hand to the head! Kennedy falls on his back, but gets back up. He charges at Big Show, but the big man raps his hand around Kennedy’s throat! Kennedy goes down low and kicks Big Show in the midsection, and follows it up with a bulldog! Kennedy goes for the quick pin, but only gets a one count.

Kennedy bounces off the ropes and hits Big Show in the forehead with a rolling kneedrop, shades of Ric Flair. Triple H hasn’t budged since the match started, and is staring a hole through his enemies in the ring.

Inside the ring, Kennedy is stomping on Big Show’s knee. He goes to lock him in his inverted figure four, but JBL runs in and attacks Kennedy, making sure his hired help is at 100% at Great American Bash. The ref gets in JBL’s face, and he exits the ring. Kennedy is still recovering, but gets a boot to the face from Big Show. Big Show raps his huge hand around Kennedy’s throat, and lifts him up. Batista is getting pissed off on the apron, wanting a shot at JBL and Big Show for what they did to Teddy Long last week. Big Show has now lifted Kennedy off the ground, and throws him across the ring all the way to his corner! Big Show steps over Kennedy, and tags in an eager Edge, who immediately mounts Kennedy. Edge starts raining down hard punches on the World Heavyweight Champion. Kennedy tries his best to block the oncoming flurry, but Edge doesn’t let up. Edge finally hops off of Kennedy, and starts booting him in the chest. Edge drags him into the corner, and continues striking him in the chest, knocking all the wind out of him. Edge bounces off the ropes, and kicks Kennedy square in the head! He drags him out of the corner, looking to go for a pin. He hooks the leg, but Kennedy barely kicks out. Edge drags Kennedy back to the corner, and tags in JBL. JBL enters the ring, and starts kicking Kennedy in the stomach and face. He lifts him up, and PLANTS him with a big ragdoll. JBL goes for the pin, but Kennedy once again BARELY kicks out. JBL signals for the end, and hoists Kennedy up on his shoulders, going for his Powerbomb. He is ready to slam him down, but Kennedy punches JBL in the head! Kennedy keeps firing, but JBL just shakes it off. Kennedy keeps punching, but the hits show no effect. He decides that he’s had enough of this, and starts biting JBL’s head! JBL drops Kennedy, and he dives and TAGS IN BATISTA! The Animal charges in the ring, and spears the holy HELL out of JBL! JBL rolls outside of the ring, and Big Show steps inside the ring, and charges at Batista, only to get met with a MOSTER SIZE SPINEBUSTER! Big Show is laid out, and Edge just hangs out on the apron, watching Batista eggs him on. He shakes his head, and steps off the apron, and goes to exit to the crowd…

TRIPLE H BLASTS EDGE IN THE FACE WITH A SLEDGEHAMMER! Edge crumples on the ground, holding his head. Triple H stares at his former friend Batista, until Cena slides into the ring and clotheslines the Animal! Both men start brawling, clotheslining each other over the top in the process. JBL and Big Show were about to attack Cena and Batista, before they were both taken out by Triple! Cena and Batista are already up the stage, punching each other back and forth. Batista blocked a punch, and SPEARS CENA OFF THE STAGE!!! Both men crash through the tables below! Triple H is now face to face with Mr. Kennedy, who is barely able to stand. Kennedy holds his belt up in Triple H’s face and Triple H WHACKS Kennedy in the face! Kennedy crumples to the mat, and Triple H stares a hole through the title. He picks it up, and holds it in the air. The final picture we see is Triple H standing tall over all of his downed foes, holding the World Heavyweight Title. BM: The 6 man tag match is the best as it entertained me from start to finish and it was a decent length. I will have problems facing you in the tournament lol.

WM: Jesse & Festus vs. Cade & Murdoch. It wasn't bad but I didn't like any characters there.

BP: I liked the Hardy promo which I thought it was very realistic and a great hype.

WP: Probably the Kennedy interview as it was short.

Overall: Great show but there was only two matches but it was very realistic.

Thanks for the review BTB Tourney opponent, and the reason that there were only two matches was because Riggs laptop was malfunctioning, and he lost a couple of his matches and he wanted to get the show up ASAP to start on the GAB. Thanks for the review, and be sure to leave your predictions for the Bash!
