| ‘Rule Britannia’ then hits for the second time in the night to big heat, as the sister of Paul Burchill Katie Lea Burchill makes her way to down to the ring, hoping to get one step closer to winning her first ever WWE Women’s Championship, and her first ever piece of gold in the WWE. The announcers highlight that by Summerslam, the UKonnection could have the WWE, World Tag Team and Women’s Championships.
‘Not Enough for Me’ then rings out to a pretty big reception from the crowd, as the former high school teacher Michelle McCool makes her way down to the ring, ready to compete to have the right to face Mickie James in the Triple Threat match at Summerslam. The announcers don’t even acknowledge that before the draft, Michelle was one of the contenders for the Diva’s Championship.
‘Rule Britannia’ then hits once again to big heat, as the camera instantly cuts to a shocked Katie Lea Burchill, as Natalya Neidhart heads down to the ring, also shocked that she will have to go against her UKonnection counterpart and best friend in Katie Lea. The announcers point out that the UKonnection now have a 67 percent chance of heading to Summerslam to be a part of the Triple Threat Match.
Match #3 Winner heads to Women’s Title Triple Threat Match Katie Lea Burchill vs. Michelle McCool vs. Natalya Neidhart The beginning of the match was quite obvious, as the two best friends and UKonnection members Katie Lea and Natalya double teamed Michelle, each taking turns to pulverise the former teacher. The two nailed Michelle with a double suplex, but they couldn’t decide who would make the cover, giving McCool enough time to recover, as she eventually nailed them with a double clothesline. Michelle then threw Natalya out of the ring so she could work on Burchill, where she nailed her with a Bulldog, sending Katie’s face crashing into the mat. Michelle then locked in her devastating Brazilian Heel Hook, right in the centre of the ring! Just when it looked like Katie would tap, a recovered Neidhart ran in the ring, and got Michelle off. Michelle fought back by nailing some punches to the gut, but then she was met a boot to the gut from Natalya, quickly followed by a Running Powerslam for the win!
Winner and going to Summerslam: Natalya Neidhart!
Natalya gets her hand raised in victory to heat from the crowd, as she is now on step closer to winning the Women’s Title at Summerslam. Katie Lea begins to get up, as Natalya sees her best friend recovering. When Katie gets up, she sees Natalya and the two shrug at each other, with Burchill upset that she lost but also happy for Natalya. The crowd give heat as they were hoping that something would happen, but the two simply walk out with each other, bad mouthing the fans on the way out.
*Commercial* We return from the break, with JR and the King saying that not only do we have a WWE Championship match coming up, but right now, we will have ourselves an inter promotional Cruiserweight Championship match, with the Cruiserweight Champion Kofi Kingstondefending his title against a man that came so close to winning a championship last night, and one half of the tag team Londrick, Paul London.
‘Rocker’ then hits to a pretty big pop, as Paul London makes his way down to the ring for his second title match in two nights, as he is accompanied by a jealous looking Brian Kendrick. London is oblivious to the fact that his partner is jealous of him getting a title shot, as he does his standard running entrance, as he waits for the champion to emerge from the tunnel. JR and the King are talking about last night’s ladder match as Londrick make their entrance.
‘SOS’ then blast out through the speakers to big heat, as the man that ambushed Matt Hardy and the current Cruiserweight Champion of the World Kofi Kingston makes his way to the ring with his completely different demeanour, eyes transfixed on the ring and ready for action. We are shown video footage of what happened after Smackdown US Title match, where Kofi assaulted Matt after Hardy got the victory over Punk.
Match 4 Cruiserweight Title Match Paul London w/ Kendrick vs. Kofi Kingston (c) This was the second match of the night with high flying action all the way throughout, as London and Kofi put on a great show for the fans. London hit Kingston with his patented Mushroom Stomp from off of the top rope, but that was only enough for a two count, although London did return the favour later on in the match, when Kofi had hit his huge double leg drop (now without theatrics due to his seriousness), London managed to get a hold of the bottom rope, denying Kofi the victory. Kofi then waited for London to get up, looking for his 450 Kick, before through the speakers, ‘Live for the Moment’ hit to a huge pop, but Matt Hardy was nowhere in sight. Kofi instantly walked over to the ropes and waited for Matt to come out, but Paul had recovered and nailed Kingston with a Dragon Suplex! London then quickly capitalized, hitting a Standing Shooting Star Press! 1...2...3! WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION!
Winner and NEW Cruiserweight Champion: Paul London!
The new champion rejoices as Kendrick looks on from the outside, unsure what to think, as it looks like somebody is jealous! Kendrick gets in the ring and half heartedly celebrates, as Kofi is obviously pissed off that he has lost his Cruiserweight Title, and it was all because of a distraction from Matt Hardy, returning the favour from last night. London gets his arms raised by Kendrick (who looks angry) and the referee, as we fade to another commercial break.
*Commercial*
We return from the break with a ‘Before the Break’ video package, where we seeing the ending of the Cruiserweight Title Match, where Kofi was about to hit the 450 Kick, before Matt Hardy’s music hit, distracting Kofi and allowing London to capitalize and hit a Dragon Suplex followed by a Standing Shooting Star Press for the win and the title. The announcers highlight how we saw a jealous look on the face of Kendrick.
‘I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD, THEY COME TO ME. THEY UNDERSTAND, THEY TALK TO ME!’
‘Voices’ continues to play to so far the biggest heat of the night, as none other than the man that lost last night in the main event Randy Orton makes his way down to the ring, obviously pissed off about last night with Kane’s return. The announcers talk about how Orton was on the way to victory last night but a Kane distraction cost him the title, and then they talk about the ambush after the main event.
Randy receives a mic from Lillian, and tells everyone to shut up because he is something to say only making the crowd get even louder. Randy talks about last night and how he was cost the WWE Championship because of the Big Red Fat Oaf Kane, as the mention of the Big Red Machine gets a big pop from the crowd. Randy says that Kane should have recovered for a bit longer to heal up the injuries that he sustained from Randy, because once Orton gets his hands on him, Kane will be sent straight back to the shelf.
Randy then talks about Jeff Hardy, and that he should watch his back, because when Randy is finished with Kane, he is going to go straight back to Jeff and get back his WWE Championship. Randy then tells us that he went to Shane McMahon just five minutes ago, and to get back at Kane, Shane O Mac has signed another match, Randy Orton vs. Kane at Summerslam! The crowd give a huge pop at the announcement, as the third SSlam match has been signed, and the first Raw exclusive.
‘Burned’ begins to play to the second biggest pop of the night (just behind Jeff Hardy at the top of the show), as the monster Kane makes his way down to the ring, making his Raw return after a three week absence after Randy Orton’s punt kick to the head. The announcers talk about how Randy was responsible for Kane’s unmasking after he gave Kane an RKO in his match with Triple H. Randy, surprisingly, waits in the ring for Kane, like MVP with Finlay earlier.
Kane climbs up the stairs and steps over the top rope to get into the ring, much like last night. Kane charges at Orton, going for a big boot, but Randy ducks under and connects with some punches to the back of Kane, and after Kane turns around, he connects with some punches to the face, although Kane seems to be unharmed by all of this. Randy then bounces off the ropes attempting a clothesline, but Kane meets him with a huge uppercut right to the jaw.
Randy staggers back into the ropes, and when he returns, he is met with a hand wrapped around the throat by Kane! Randy, not wanting to be Chokeslammed again, quickly hits Kane with a boot to the gut, before getting him in a cutter position, looking for the RKO. Before Orton could hit his signature move, however, he is pushed into the turnbuckles by Kane! Randy staggers out of the corner, as Kane turns him around, gets him on his shoulders, and nails Randy with a huge Tombstone Piledriver!
The crowd let out a huge pop for Kane’s other finisher, as Kane raises his arms, as the crowd knows what is coming next, and they join along with him. Kane then thrusts his arms down, as fire ignites out of the ring posts. We are shown a replay of the exciting sequence at the end, as JR and the King hype Orton and Kane’s match for SS. Kane heads over the top rope and makes his way up the ramp as we go to a commercial break.
*Commercial*
We return from the break with an ‘Earlier Tonight’ package, where we are shown Jeff Hardy’s Victory Promo, only to be interrupted by William Regal, who requests a WWE Championship match for the main event. Hardy says that many people have doubted him in the past 24 hours, and that the championship match was on for the main event. JR and the King ask if Jeff can retain his title, and that question will be answered right now, as it is main event time!
‘Rule Britannia’ then hits to very big heat, as accompanied by DH Smith and Paul Burchill (who are wearing the tag team titles), William Regal makes his way to the ring, hoping to become the WWE Champion for the first ever time, much like Jeff Hardy before last night. Regal heads to the ring, as his music goes silent, and the crowd rise up in anticipation, waiting for the WWE Champion’s entrance.
‘No More Words’ blasts out for the third time in the night to a huge ovation from the crowd, as the WWE Champion Jeff Hardy makes his way out to the entrance ramp doing his little dance, before he makes his way down to the ring, ready for his first title defence. The announcers once again say that Jeff is the underdog in this match due to Regal’s experience, and the fact that Regal has Smith and Burchill by his side.
Match 5 Main Event WWE Championship William Regal w/ Smith and Burchill vs. Jeff Hardy (c) This match was a contrast of fighting styles, Hardy as a high flyer and Regal as a stiff brawler. The match went for about 12 minutes, with the crowd really involved. Regal worked on Hardy’s leg for the majority of the match, but Hardy fought back with a Mule Kick to Regal, getting back in the contest. Regal ducked a flying forearm attempt from Hardy, as he then whipped Hardy towards the turnbuckles, but Hardy jumped up to the second rope and then to the top rope, before coming down with a Whisper in the Wind, only for it to be dodged by Regal and Hardy landed square on his ass. Regal then lifted the champ up, before getting him in a half nelson, before nailing a Release Half Nelson Suplex, with Hardy landing flat on his chest, as Regal quickly crawled over for the cover, as we may have a new champ! 1...2...NO! Hardy manages to roll the shoulder up, breaking up the fall. Regal is frustrated, as he goes to argue with the referee, as Hardy slowly recovers. Regal makes a signal to Smith on the outside, and with the referee distracted, Smith waits for Jeff to get up before hanging him up on the top rope! Regal stops arguing as he attempts for a knee to the head of Hardy, but Jeff moves and Regal’s unexposed knee smashes the turnbuckle! Regal screams in pain, as Hardy drags him out, before hitting a TWIST OF FATE! 1...2...3! Hardy is successful!
Winner and STILL WWE Champion: Jeff Hardy!
Smith and Burchill are furious on the outside, and they go to get in the ring, but Hardy charges at them with his title and they scarper, but not before getting Regal out of the ring and helping him to the back. Hardy goes up to the top rope and celebrates with his title, as JR says that Jeff Hardy has defied the odds here tonight. Hardy continues to celebrate, going up to every top rope and raising his title to a pop from the fans. The victory celebration is cut short, however.
THE LIGHTS GO OUT! The fans erupt in heat, and they get even louder as when the lights come back on, the man that destroyed Shawn Michaels, the Undertaker is in the ring right behind Jeff! Hardy has no idea and is looking at the entrance ramp, before turning around to see if Taker is behind him, and he is met with a huge Big Boot, directly to the face! The crowd erupt in heat, as the Undertaker looks down at the man that defeated him last week.
Undertaker then lifts Jeff up, before putting him in between his legs and raising his right arm, as the crowd pour in the heat. Undertaker then hoists Jeff up so that his legs are resting on his shoulders. LAST RIDE! The Undertaker has sent a direct message to the WWE Champion with the move that he put Shawn Michaels away with, as the show ends with the biker Taker making the belt signal, as the signal fades to black, with the WWE logo comes across the screen.
*End of Show*

| WWE Summerslam Build UpMonday Night Raw Main Event Scene WWE Championship Jeff Hardy vs. the Undertaker *The Jeff Hardy / Undertaker feud was really heating up, with Undertaker costing Jeff another match, this one a Six Man Tag Match where Hardy was on Londrick’s side as they went up against the UKonnection. When it seemed as though Jeff would pick up the win over Burchill with a Twist of Fate, Taker’s music hit as Jeff went to the ropes closest to the entrance ramp, only for Taker not to come out. Burchill then rolled Hardy up and got the tights, getting the Englishman a huge win over the champ. The next week, Jeff was victorious against DH Smith, and surprisingly Taker didn’t even try to distract Jeff. Later in the night, it was Brother vs. Brother, as Undertaker faced his brother Kane. Jeff made the save for Kane after Randy Orton interference and the show ended with Taker and Jeff brawling. Jeff faced Orton the next week in a non title match in the main event, where the Undertaker was at ringside. Just when it looked like Jeff would get the victory with a Swanton Bomb, Taker got up from his seat near the announce table and pushed Hardy off, resulting in a disqualification. Taker and Orton kept on the assault, and an attempted save from Kane failed, as Taker nailed Jeff with a Last Ride, and to end the last Raw before Summerslam, Taker posed with Jeff’s title, having the clear edge before the match.
Randy Orton vs. Kane *After Kane cost Randy Orton the WWE Title at the Great American Bash, Orton had been seeking vengeance, also for what happened the night after on Raw when he was given a Chokeslam and a Tombstone Piledriver. The next week on Raw, Kane returned to action, as he faced the jobbing tag team of Cantino in a two on one handicap match. Kane decimated the two up and comers, finishing the match with a huge Tombstone Piledriver to Carlito. After the match, however, things took a turn for the bad for Kane, as Randy ambushed Kane after the match, hitting him across the head with a steel chair and finishing him off with an RKO. The next week, Kane was booked to be in a match against his ‘brother’ the Undertaker, and once again, Orton interfered, resulting in the match to be a no contest. Orton and Kane went off brawling, although Kane took the advantage because of his bigger demeanour, and he ended up Chokeslamming Orton on the steel ramp way. After having three weeks off from competition, Orton was forced to wrestle 6 days before Summerslam, and it was against none other than his opponent from the Bash and the WWE Champion, Jeff Hardy! Orton looked like losing to Hardy, but ended up only getting disqualified after the Undertaker interfered on Orton’s behalf. Kane attempted to help Jeff, but ended up getting an RKO for his troubles.
Midcard Scene Intercontinental Championship Rey Mysterio vs. Finlay *Finlay had his troubles with MVP in the weeks leading up to and following the Great American Bash, which led to a Street Fight eight nights after the Bash, in which Finlay decimated the brash superstar, destroying his leg with multiple shillelagh and chair shots. Finlay got a mixed reaction as he showed no remorse what so ever. Later on that night, Rey Mysterio was talking backstage with cruiserweights such as Cody Rhodes, Nunzio and Jamie Noble about Hornswoggle and how he used to be the champion. Rey was talking about how he was sorry for Hornswoggle and such, when all of a sudden, Finlay came out of nowhere and assaulted Mysterio and his buddies! Many thought it was because Finlay heard the name of his son, as he went on to give Rey a Celtic Cross on the concrete floor. Rey defended his IC Championship against Elijah Burke the following week, and he successfully retained his title after a Dropping the Dime. Once again, however, Finlay assaulted Rey, this time in the ring, smashing Rey in the face with his own Intercontinental Title belt. Shane signed the match later that night for Summerslam with the title on the line. During these weeks, Finlay has had various run ins with the UKonnection, although Finlay says he can fight on his own.
Hardcore Match Tommy Dreamer vs. Chavo Guerrero *Ever since Guerrero eliminated Dreamer in the Intercontinental Championship Battle Royal which was then followed by Dreamer costing Chavo, the two have been neck and neck. Weapons have been involved in this feud, such as ladders, tables, steel chairs, Singapore canes, and what Dreamer introduced the last Monday before Summerslam, a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. Chavo and Dreamer had turns at decimating each other, one week Chavo put Dreamer through the announce table after a vicious Brainbuster DDT, and the next week, Dreamer nailing a Dreamer Valley Driver onto two stacked steel chairs. Raw General Manager Shane McMahon had had enough of the two constantly destroying each other on every edition of Raw, so he signed the match for Summerslam, but it would be a HARDCORE MATCH! Many expected Chavo to be angry since the match clearly favoured Dreamer, but Guerrero showed he shouldn’t be underestimated, as he turned the tables on Dreamer, attacking Tommy’s back with his own baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire after Chavo stunned Dreamer with a low blow.
Other Worthwhile Raw News and Notes *The UKonnection continued to reign supreme over Raw, as DH Smith and William Regal managed to defeat Londrick in a No DQ, No Interference match, although it was under quite surprising circumstances, which will be put into more detail later. They were constantly meeting up with Finlay background and how he is from the UK, obviously trying to recruit a new member by getting into Finlay’s head. *Londrick finally disintegrated, during their Tag Team Title match against the UKonnection. Just when it seemed as though the two were on the same page after saving Jeff Hardy from the UKonnection and even declaring they were on the same page after a few hiccups, but Kendrick eventually turned on London. Kendrick said that he deserved the CW Title shot, because he was THE Brian Kendrick (Note: When I started this thread I planned on turning him hell on London from the start, but I just added THE because I like how it has played out on Smackdown IRL). *Also worth a note, MVP went into surgery to repair his injured leg, after his Street Fight with Finlay nine nights after the Bash. Finlay destroyed the right leg of MVP, using his shillelagh to destroy MVP, sending him out on a stretcher. MVP said that he would be back sooner than anybody in the entire universe would expect, because he is better than you.Friday Night Smackdown Main Event Scene World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match Mr. Kennedy vs. Edge vs. John Cena *After the disputed finish after what happened the first Smackdown after the GAB with Mr. Kennedy and Edge and John Cena as the Special Guest Referee, Theodore Long changed what was originally supposed to be a singles match between the champ and John Cena into a Triple Threat match. The 3 opponents fought over the next couple of weeks, but also found themselves teaming up, with Cena and Kennedy teaming up twice in three weeks. One week after the match was signed, a 2 on 3 Handicap match was booked, with the Rated R Superstars and their master Edge going up against Cena and Kennedy. The Rated R Army lost, but on their terms, because of a disqualification after it turned into a three on two mugging. Cena faced Edge in a grudge match the next week, and after putting on a great match that was on the verge of 20 minutes, Cena hit an FU onto Edge for the victory. The World Heavyweight Champion was not at that show after he was recovering from the injuries sustained the week earlier, as he copped it much more than Cena, although Kennedy did have an interview via satellite. The next week, the three were forced to team up, as the three faced JBL, the Big Show and CM Punk, as the three Smackdown main eventers pulled out the victory, but once again, Edge laid both of his opponents out, having the advantage ahead of the huge match.
Tag Team Match JBL/ Big Show vs. Evolution *Batista came out the second Smackdown after the GAB, saying that after his discussion with Teddy Long last week, he had gone through so much trouble to find a partner. Before he could announce who his partner was, JBL and the Big Show came out and interrupted Batista. Before the two could even say a word, Batista attacked JBL, attempting to get revenge for what happened last week, but his attempt was thwarted by the Big Show, before ‘Time to Play the Game’ hits to a huge ovation, as HHH comes out to the entrance ramp, with sledgehammer in hand. Batista and HHH cleared house, as Batista and HHH embraced, as Batista held up the hand of his Summerslam partner! The next week, Evolution returned to action, defeating the tandem of Deuce and Domino. The Big Show was also in action, easily defeating Stevie Richards. JBL and the Big Show further destroyed Richards, Show nailing him with a Chokeslam, followed by a Clothesline from Hell by JBL. Evolution ran out and fended them off, as they helped Richards, but on the outside, Show and JBL got steel chairs, re- entered the ring and nailed both HHH and Batista. Teddy Long ordered a restraining order against the two teams, with if they hit each other, their match would be off. The next week, Evolution defeated the tag team of the Rated R Superstars, as JBL and Show were unsuccessful in the 6 Man main event (See Triple Threat Match information).
Mid Card Scene WWE Tag Team Championships The World’s Greatest Tag Team vs. CM Punk and Bryan Danielson *After the confrontation five nights after the Great American Bash, CM Punk had a match the next week against Gregory Helms (with the crowd rooting for Helms), which Punk won rather easily, but in a good match. After the match, Punk got a microphone, and said that although he was unsuccessful at the Bash against Hardy, he was still looking for gold, but not singles gold. Punk said that he already had his briefcase which would ‘guarantee’ him the singles gold, so he was going for the WGGT’s tag team titles, and he challenged them to a match at Summerslam, with a partner that he would reveal very soon. The next week, the World’s Greatest Tag Team came out and accepted the challenge, as Punk came out and interrupted them. Punk said that his decision would rock the professional wrestling world, but, catching the champs off guard, said they had a match right now, in a 3 on 2 Handicap Match against the Rated R Superstars and Snitsky. Somehow, the WGGT overcame the huge odds, with Haas managing to pin Snitsky after a double Superkick from the two. After the match, however, Punk laid both of them out with his briefcase, saying he would reveal who it was next week, just 48 hours before SSlam. The time came for Punk to announce his partner the next week, as he invited the WGGT to come out and ‘welcome’ his partner. Punk said he is huge in Japan and is a former Heavyweight Champion in other promotions, and he was right behind the champs. The ‘American Dragon’ BRYAN DANIELSON! Danielson and Punk then destroyed the WGGT, Punk laying out Haas with a Tiger Driver 91, and Danielson laid out Benjamin with a Dragon Suplex, and then locked in a Cattle Mutilation to end the segment.
WWE United States Championship Matt Hardy vs. Kofi Kingston *This feud had really heated up in the past weeks, brewing after Hardy was decimated by Kingston after successfully defending his US Title against CM Punk. Hardy then cost Kingston his Cruiserweight Title the next night on Raw, as Kingston and Hardy then brutalised each other at every turn, Kingston laying out Hardy with his new finisher, the Jamaican Driver (Kofi’s version of the Michinoku Driver). Kofi defeated Hardcore Holly the next week on Smackdown in a squash match, as Hardy came out and the two engaged in a fierce brawl, taking them to the backstage area. A tag team match was set for the next week, with Kofi teaming up with Ken Doane, to go up against the reunited Mattitude, Shannon Moore and Matt Hardy. Doane and Kingston walked out the victors, after Kingston pinned Moore with help from Doane’s bodyguards, Justin LaRouche and Rycklon Stevens (the newly repackaged Bam Neely and known to us know, Ezekiel Jackson). Doane would face Hardy the next week in a Singles Match, which Matt won after interference from Doane’s bodyguards. Kingston once again defeated Shannon Moore, after a 450 Kick and then the Jamaican Driver. Matt then came out and the two were in a brawl again, but after a Low Blow from Kingston, Matt was laid out after another Jamaican Driver. Other Worthwhile SD! News and Notes *Murdoch officially turned face after their (himself and Cade) tag team match against Jesse and Festus. Cade tried to hit Festus with a chair again, but Murdoch took it out of his hands and clobbered Cade in the face. After the bell rang, Festus didn’t go back to his calm self, as it looked like the chair shot from a few weeks ago had caused ‘brain damage’. *Since the draft back in June, Umaga still has not been seen on Smackdown, seemingly because creative staff has nothing for him. There was talk of having Armando Estrada once again as his mouthpiece and pushing Umaga to the US Title scene. Also, after blowing a spot with CM Punk which could have severely injured Punk, the Miz is not very well liked backstage. *Also worth a note, the Highlanders have been released from the WWE. Jimmy Wang has been suspended for his first breach of the Wellness Policy, and Super Crazy is still selling his injury caused by Snitsky.Interbrand Scene Women’s Title Triple Threat Match Mickie James vs. Maria vs. Katie Lea *The Women’s Triple Threat Match was given pretty big hype considering it was a Women’s Match, as Maria was really built up in the next weeks, due to her committing herself and improving considerably in the ring. Natalya and Katie Lea managed to defeat Maria and Michelle McCool on Raw, but Maria managed to defeat Victoria and Melina in consecutive weeks on Smackdown. Mickie James managed to defeat Neidhart in a non title match on Raw, after interference from Katie Lea backfired. In a Six Woman Tag Team Match which involved Katie Lea, Natalya and Victoria vs. Mickie, Maria and Candice Michelle, the heels walked out victorious, after Natalya pinned Candice after a Running Powerslam, which she learnt from her cousin DH Smith. On Raw the next week, another tag team match took place, with this time Mickie James and Maria walking out victorious. After complaining to Shane McMahon and Teddy Long that Natalya would have a two on one disadvantage, a Women’s Title Lumberjill match was signed for Smackdown, with Mickie defending against Katie Lea. James walked out successful, but all the heel Diva’s walked out on top, out numbering and decimating the faces. Natalya held up the Women’s Title as the crowd gave considerable heat, especially for a Women’s bout. Other Worthwhile Interbrand News & Notes *It was announced by the WWE that Armageddon would be replaced by No Way Out for December, as it was announced that the WWE had scrapped the February Pay Per View. This was because the WWE thought that No Way Out was a distraction leading into Wrestlemania, and so it could be a clear run heading from the Rumble into Wrestlemania, No Way Out was moved. Elimination Chambers will still be held, but this time for the WWE and World Championships. |

| OK, so there was the Summerslam build up, because as previously mentioned, me and X will bring this forum back to life with some help from others. Here are the results. WWE SUMMERSLAMThe World’s Greatest Tag Team defeated CM Punk and the ‘American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson to retain their WWE Tag Team Titles. *The World’s Greatest Tag Team defeated CM Punk and Bryan Danielson to retain their WWE Tag Team Titles. This victory came after Punk got pissed off at Danielson for not being able to pull out the victory, which eventually led to Punk slapping Danielson, which resulted in Danielson leaving Punk to fend for himself. One Superkick later from Benjamin, and it was over.Finlay defeated Rey Mysterio to win the Intercontinental Championship.*Finlay defeated Rey Mysterio, resulting in Finlay winning the Intercontinental Championship. This came after the UKonnection distracted Rey, as DH Smith came through the crowd and nailed Rey with a Brainbuster. Finlay then hit his hold finisher, the Emerald Fusion, which lead to the victory. Finlay smirked and shook hands with William Regal, officially joining the UKonnection.[color:dfeb=blue ]Matt Hardy defeated Kofi Kingston to retain his United States Title. The match was nothing short of an all out brawl, as the match started in the entrance way, with Kofi attacking Hardy as he made his way out. The match went from stiff to high flying in a very good match, as the two showcased their abilities. At the end of the match, Matt kicked out of Kofi’s 450 Kick, so when Kofi went for the Jamaican Driver, Matt slipped behind him and nailed a Reverse Twist of Fate for the win. Mickie James defeated Natalya Neidhart and Maria to retain her Women’s Title. In what was good for a Women’s Match, Mickie James pinned Natalya after a Mick Kick. Katie Lea came out with her best friend and UKonnection colleague, but was soon evicted after she got involved in the match. Natalya looked to have the match won after she locked Maria in the Sharpshooter, but Mickie came from behind of Neidhart and hit her with a Mick Kick to the back of the head to retain her title.Tommy Dreamer defeated Chavo Guerrero in a Hardcore Match. *Tommy Dreamer managed to defeat Chavo Guerrero in a bloody Hardcore Match. Heaps of weapons were used in this match, much like in the lead up of this feud. Some of these weapons included Kendo Sticks, Barbed Wire (lots of it), Tables, Chairs and Ladders. Chavo was busted open after a barbed wire steel chair shot to the head, and Dreamer was busted open after Barby was repeatedly driven into his skull. Dreamer won after a vicious DVD onto a barbed wire board. The Reformed Cabinet defeated Evolution via pinfall. JBL and the Big Show managed to defeat Batista and Triple H, after Batista turned on his mentor once again and pulverized HHH with a chair. The ref tried to take the chair away from Batista, thinking he would hit JBL, but he hit HHH at the 7 minute mark, making it not a very good or long match. The referee couldn’t call for a DQ as it was his own partner, as JBL picked up the scraps and got the pin. Batista then hit HHH with a Spinebuster on the chair, saying “I don’t need your help”. Randy Orton defeated Kane via interference and pinfall. Randy Orton defeated Kane via pinfall, but under some shocking circumstances. After the referee was knocked down after a very good match, to the shock of everyone, MVP came charging down the ramp on his crutches, and nailed Kane in the head! Porter showed that he was fine by walking perfectly, as Randy smirked at his supposed newly found partner, and one RKO later, the referee revived and counted the three. After the match, the boots were laid into Kane, and RKO and MVP nailed Kane with their respective finishers.Jeff Hardy defeated the Undertaker to retain his WWE Title. Jeff Hardy defeated the Undertaker in a really good match to retain his WWE Title, which is Hardy’s first ever PPV title defence. After a 20 minute match and Match of the Night, both men managed to kick out of each other’s respective first and secondary finishers. Undertaker looked to put Jeff away with a top rope Chokeslam, but Jeff managed to reverse the attempt which would have most likely cost him his WWE Title, and he hit a top rope Twist of Fate for the victory.Mr. Kennedy defeated Edge and John Cena to retain his World Heavyweight Championship. After some huge build on Smackdown including a huge main event, it finally came down to this, and it didn’t disappoint. There were various near falls and break up pins, with Cena and Edge being a millisecond away from once again being champ. In the end, however, Mr. Kennedy reigned supreme, once again pinning Edge after a Mic Check. The show ended with Mr. Kennedy on the top rope, holding his World Heavyweight Title up high in the air._________________ Credit for le' sexy siggeh: RTheory/Rock |

| Summerslam results look good, as does this BTB. The UKonnection is a really awesome name tbh. Punk as a heel is somehting I like to see. The main events seemed alright, but I don't know if I like Kennedy as champion. | Unforgiven Lead Up Monday Night Raw
WWE Championship Handicap Match If Orton/ MVP win, Orton is champion. Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton/ MVP One night after Summerslam, Randy Orton and MVP attacked the WWE Champion Jeff Hardy after he was making a victory speech about his first successful PPV title defence, and talking about his next challenger, who was unknown. Randy then got a microphone after hitting a second RKO, as he said he would be cashing in his rematch clause at Unforgiven, and the stipulation was a handicap match! Over the next few weeks, the three continued bickering with the Two Man Dynasty, as Orton and MVP continued to pick up victories. In the last week before Unforgiven, Jeff Hardy defeated MVP, but once again, he was left laying by the Two Man Dynasty after a Playa’s Boot and an RKO combination.
Brother vs. Brother The Undertaker vs. Kane After being inactive for one week after the assault handed to him at Summerslam by Orton and MVP, a tag team match was booked for the next week, with Kane and a mystery partner up against the Two Man Dynasty. To the shock of everyone, his partner turned out to be his brother the Undertaker! Just when it looked like Taker was over his heel turn, Taker turned on his brother, nailing a Last Ride and letting Orton pick up the scraps. Kane attacked Taker the next week after his victory over Tommy Dreamer, as the two got under each other’s skin. The two monsters had to be separated 6 days before Unforgiven, and it promised to be an all out brawl.
For the Tag Team and Intercontinental Titles Six Man Tag Team Match UKonnection (minus Regal) vs. Chris Jericho/ John Morrison/ Rey Mysterio Chris Jericho turned face once again, as he seemed to show respect for John Morrison after a match just before Summerslam. The next week, he completed his turn by saving Morrison and Mysterio after a 4 on 2 beat down from the UKonnection. Jericho and Morrison became a team and pursued the Tag Team Titles, as Mysterio chased the IC Title that he was cheated from. The match was announced as Regal began to take a non competing type of role in the UKonnection, becoming more of a mouthpiece. Mysterio and Morrison defeated DH Smith and Finlay in a non title match official. The clause was that if Mysterio, Morrison and Y2J won, the person who got the pinfall would become IC Champ and the two others would become tag champs.
Cruiserweight Championship Paul London vs. The Brian Kendrick After turning on his former partner for several years, Kendrick chased London’s Cruiserweight Title, as it became a key figure on the Raw brand, although it was still classified as an inter brand title. Kendrick picked up a win over Jamie Noble to become the number 1 Contender for London’s Cruiserweight Title for Unforgiven. The match promised to be a high flying classic because of the history and chemistry between the two men, as London looked to be heading with an advantage, after beating his former partner in a tag team match after a 450 Splash from the top rope. Noble was London’s partner while Nunzio was The Brian Kendrick’s.
Friday Night Smackdown
World Heavyweight Championship Mr. Kennedy vs. John Cena The Smackdown after Summerslam was in Mr. Kennedy’s hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Kennedy would have the chance to add more gold to his list, as he and John Cena would team up to face the WGGT in a title match, with Kennedy’s dad in first row seats. Cena turned heel on this night, surprisingly attacking Kennedy’s dad, which led to a huge brawl between Kennedy and Cena, giving the WGGT the win by count out. Teddy Long made the match for Unforgiven, as Cena explained that he attacked Kennedy’s dad to get a one on one shot at the World Title, and as an ‘apology’, Cena offered Kennedy’s dad front row seats to Unforgiven. Cena went on to beat Shelton Benjamin, and the next week, Kennedy defeated the Big Show. A contract signing was set for the next week, where another scuffle broke out and the two had to be separated by security.
Grudge Match Batista vs. Triple H After what happened at Summerslam between Batista and Triple H, Teddy Long questioned his friend Batista as to why he did it, as Batista screamed at Teddy and blew him off. It was announced that HHH would have two weeks off to recover from his injury that he sustained from the hands of Batista. 11 nights after Summerslam, Batista mowed through The Miz, and he announced that he would answer Teddy Long’s question next week, but he had a question of his own for HHH, whether he would accept his challenge for a one on one match at Unforgiven. The match became official the next week, as when Batista looked to hit his General Manager and former friend Teddy Long with a Spinebuster, HHH came running out and smashed Batista with his sledgehammer, before accepting the challenge. The two were then forced into a tag team match the next week, where they surprisingly beat Deuce and Domino. Batista laid out HHH after the match.
United States Championship Fatal 4 Way Match Matt Hardy vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Ken Doane w/ Rycklon and LaRouche vs. Umaga w/ Armando Estrada Matt Hardy found many challengers for his WWE United States Championship, one being former Number 1 Contender Kofi Kingston, and the other two being two new challengers in Ken Doane and the returning Umaga. Doane had his two new bodyguards by his side, while Umaga was flanked by his former mouthpiece and once again manager, Armando Estrada. The three of them won three different qualifying matches in the same night, with Kofi defeating Hardcore Holly, Doane beating the Miz, and Umaga defeating the returning Super Crazy. Umaga had a tweener role in this feud, as he and Hardy teamed up to face the two remaining competitors, as the faces came out victorious. 6 days before his defence, Matt was given the week off as his three challengers went at it in a Triple Threat match, which Doane won.
Grudge Match CM Punk vs. Bryan Danielson After their fall out at Summerslam after Danielson turned on Punk in their WWE Tag Team Title Match, Bryan Danielson and CM Punk have been neck and neck. Punk attacked Danielson backstage after he was being interviewed by Todd Grisham about what happened at Summerslam, throwing him into various objects backstage as Grisham called for help. Danielson had his first singles match the next week, and he managed to defeat Curt Hawkins after a Dragon Suplex. Punk tried to attack Bryan once again after the match, only to be locked in a Cattle Mutilation. Punk and Danielson were bought in a one on one contest the next week, which would hopefully settle their feud, but that didn’t work, as it went to a double count out. A rematch was signed for Unforgiven, and so no ‘funny business’ happened, both were banned out of the arena 2 days before Unforgiven, but both had satellite interviews, where they both promised to destroy the other.
Unforgiven Results
United States Championship Fatal 4 Way Match *Ken Doane defeated Matt Hardy, Kofi Kingston and Umaga in 15.37 after a Sky High Sensation to Matt. Doane is the new United States Champion.
Cruiserweight Championship *Paul London defeated THE Brian Kendrick in 21.36 after a Running Standing Shooting Star Press. London retains his Cruiserweight Championship.
Grudge Match *Bryan Danielson defeated CM Punk in 17.00 after making CM Punk tap out to the devastating Cattle Mutilation.

The UKonnection all retain their titles.Grudge Match *Triple H defeated Batista after a Pedigree from off the top rope, to get the victory in 11.32.
WWE Championship Handicap Match *Jeff Hardy defeated Randy Orton and MVP in a handicap match to retain his WWE Title in 17.25 after a Swanton Bomb to MVP.
World Heavyweight Championship *John Cena defeated Mr. Kennedy via DQ after Kennedy snapped and attacked Cena with a chair. Kennedy is still the World Heavyweight Champion.

WWE Championship Scramble Match Jeff Hardy(c) vs. Undertaker vs. Kane vs. Randy Orton vs. MVP Much like his brother Matt Hardy had before Unforgiven, the WWE Champion Jeff Hardy had many challengers coming his way after successfully retaining his WWE Title at Unforgiven. The Brothers of Destruction had a match against each other for the Number 1 Contendership, only for Randy Orton and MVP to interrupt, saying they were cheated out of the title. Shane McMahon came out and announced that they had ran out of time on the broadcast, but he would give his decision next week. Shane said that he had come up with a new concept, the Scramble Match, which had a twenty minute time limit, and had five men. The champion would start out the match along with another challenger, and every five minutes, a new challenger would come in, and the last person to get a pinfall would be the champ. Over the next 2 weeks, all 5 men were in matches, with a Fatal 4 Way match with the challengers being held 2 weeks before NM, which Orton won. The next week in a 3 on 2 Handicap match, Hardy and Kane won after Kane pinned MVP.
Intercontinental Championship Chris Jericho vs. Finlay(c) After not being pinned in the Six Man Tag Team match at Unforgiven, Chris Jericho went straight to UKonnection member Finlay, who also happened to be the IC Champion. Jericho wanted to add another IC Championship reign, so he went after Finlay after defeating his friend John Morrison in a Number 1 Contender’s Match 8 nights after Unforgiven. The next week, Rey Mysterio cashed in his one on one match rematch clause after never getting the one on one match that was in the contract but once again, Mysterio was cost the Intercontinental Title after interference from the UKonnection, this time from Paul Burchill coming down to the ring and hitting Rey with a C4 while the referee was down. Jericho and Mysterio then defeated Finlay and Burchill in a non title match the next week, but it was Finlay who had the advantage after laying Y2J out after a Celtic Cross after a shillelagh shot to the nuts.
Cruiserweight Championship Two Out of Three Falls Paul London (c) vs. The Brian Kendrick The Brian Kendrick continued to complain, saying that he deserved the Cruiserweight Championship, and that his former partner Paul London won at Unforgiven merely by a fluke. London told his former partner to get over it, and that he was simply jealous that Kendrick didn’t have the singles accomplishments that London had had. Kendrick proved to London that he was indeed a worthy challenger, winning a 5 man inter promotional Battle Royal which also involved Jimmy Wang Yang, Super Crazy, Jamie Noble and Nunzio to become the Number 1 Contender for No Mercy. London made a request of stipulation the next week to Shane McMahon to make the match a Two out of Three Falls match to ensure no ‘flukes’, and it was accepted by both Shane and Kendrick. Kendrick managed to defeat fellow cruiserweight Cody Rhodes, while London then made a trip to Smackdown to defend his CW Title, where he successfully retained against former champion Gregory Helms.
Tag Team Grudge Match The Puerto Rican Nightmares vs. Carlito and Santino 1 night after Unforgiven, a video package was shown on Raw, displaying the arrival of a new team on the block, the Puerto Rican Nightmares, Primo Colon and Eric Perez. One half of Cantino, Carlito Colon, was shown watching this video in the locker room, seemingly disgusted that his brother had the chance to show up and be a Superstar on Raw. The same thing happened the next week, as Carlito then cut a promo on his little brother. The Puerto Rican Nightmares then made their debut the next week to a very positive response from the crowd, as they managed to defeat the team of Cryme Tyme. After the match, Carlito and his partner Santino came out to the entrance ramp, as Carlito made the challenge to the PRN for No Mercy, which was accepted by Primo. The next week on Raw, the PNR tagged up with their opponents from the previous week, Cryme Tyme, to face Cantino, Chavo Guerrero and Elijah Burke, as Primo got the pin after a Diving Bulldog to Burke.
Smackdown
World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match Mr. Kennedy (c) vs. John Cena After a disputed finish at Unforgiven after Cena won by DQ when Kennedy attacked John with a steel chair after all the stuff that Cena did to Kennedy’s dad, Teddy Long signed a rematch for No Mercy, but under a special stipulation. It would be that the WWE Title would be suspended 15 feet in the air, and the match would be a Ladder Match! The crowd went crazy at the announcement, as John Cena was in a blockbuster main event one week after the announcement, as he went toe to toe with Triple H. Cena won after Batista interference, only for Kennedy to make the save for HHH, making the heels flee. Kennedy and Cena were on opposite sides of the ring once again, as HHH and Kennedy teamed up to face John Cena and Batista, which the faces one, only for Cena to attack Kennedy with a ladder after the match. 2 days before No Mercy, Cena destroyed some jobber with a ladder in a No Holds Barred match, as Kennedy defeated Batista after a Kenton Bomb. Cena tried to attack the champ after the match, only to get a face full of the World Heavyweight Title.
No Holds Barred Batista vs. Triple H After Triple H was victorious at Unforgiven against Batista, Big Dave was obviously pissed off, as e went on a rampage to get HHH back in the ring, although HHH denied Batista, because he had already proved he could beat him. Batista said that he had walked out on the company 5 days after Unforgiven, storming out of the arena, only to return the next week and cost HHH a match against John Cena. Triple H was very pissed off at his former protégé, as if HHH won that match, he would have been in line for a World Heavyweight Championship shot since Cena was Number 1 Contender. HHH then wanted his chance at revenge, so he ended up accepting Batista’s challenge for No Mercy, but he made the stipulation that if Batista lost, he would never get a one on one match with HHH again, and it would be a No Holds Barred Match. The two then got in the ring the next week in a tag team match (See Cena vs. Kennedy). Batista and HHH went off brawling, and HHH was declared the victor after Kennedy pinned Cena. The next week, HHH cut a promo on Batista in the ring, only for Tista to come out and destroy HHH with a steel chair.
WWE Tag Team Championships The Reformed Cabinet (c) vs. WGGT After being relatively quiet on Smackdown, The Reformed Cabinet returned to defeat the WWE Tag Team Champions the WGGT in a non title match five days after Unforgiven. In what was classified an upset the next week, the Reformed Cabinet went 2 and 0 over the World’s Greatest Tag Team, winning the WWE Tag Team Championships in the process after some miscommunication between Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas. Shelton was shocked as he was the one that lost the fall to JBL after a sneaky roll up and hook of the tights (which went unbeknownst to the referee), as Haas and Benjamin had a little argument after the match. Benjamin and Haas looked to be on the same page the next week, defeating the team of Justin LaRouche and Rycklon Stephens in a tag team match, and then announcing that they would cash in their rematch clause at No Mercy. The Big Show then lost to Shelton Benjamin after a Paydirt, but the Reformed Cabinet had the last laugh, knocking both Haas and Benjamin out.
United States Championship Matt Hardy vs. Ken Doane(c) After winning the United States Championship at Unforgiven in the Fatal 4 Way Match with help from his bodyguards LaRouche and Stephens, Ken Doane was over the moon. Matt Hardy came right back at Doane, looking to make Doane’s title reign a very shot one by cashing in his rematch clause the first Smackdown after he lost the title, but Matt lost after an RK- Doane. Matt then won a Triple Threat match the next week between himself, Bryan Danielson and CM Punk after pinning Punk after a Twist a Fate, making a rematch for No Mercy. Doane and Punk had a tag match against what was classified as a dream team with Matt and Danielson, but Doane picked up the win over Hardy once again after a low blow, followed by a Whiplash Neckbreaker and then a Sky High Sensation, with Doane once again outsmarting Matt. Hardy managed to defeat one of the bodyguards of Doane the next week, as Hardy defeated Rycklon after a Top Rope Leg Drop, which Cole said was ‘stealing Doane’s move’ and sending Ken a message.
No Mercy Results
*Tag Team Grudge Match The Puerto Rican Nightmares defeated Cantino in 12.37 after a Missile Dropkick from Eddie Colon. Elijah Burke then came out from the back, as Cantino and Burke laid the boots into the PRN. Burke had remembered that Primo pinned Burke in the 8 Man Tag Match.
*United States Championship Ken Doane defeated Matt Hardy in 15.40 after an RK- Doane and then a Sky High Sensation after his bodyguards were evicted from ringside. Doane retains his United States Title.
*Intercontinental Championship Finlay defeated Chris Jericho in 18.12 after interference from the UKonnection. Regal distracted Y2J, which gave Finlay enough time to recover and hit Jericho with an Emerald Fusion. Finlay retains his IC Title.
*WWE Tag Team Championships The Reformed Cabinet defeated the World’s Greatest Tag Team in 12.30 after another miscommunication from Benjamin and Haas. Benjamin was pissed off at Haas after Haas got pinned, as he pushed him off and teased a turn.
*Cruiserweight Championship Match Paul London defeated The Brian Kendrick in 30.55 to retain his Cruiserweight Championship after gaining the third pinfall. First Fall: London pinned Kendrick after 17.20 after Dragon Suplex, getting London the first fall. Second Fall: Kendrick got the pin on London after hitting his former partner with a Sliced Bread #2 at 23.48. Third Fall: London got the third and final pinfall after hitting Kendrick with a Shooting Star Press off the top rope.
*No Holds Barred Match Batista defeated Triple H in 17. 43, after nailing his former mentor with various steel chair shots, before finishing HHH off with a Batista Bomb.
*World Heavyweight Championship Match Ladder Match John Cena retrieved the World Heavyweight Championship to become the new champion against Mr. Kennedy in 25.20 after nailing an FU to Kennedy off a huge ladder, before retrieving the title.
*WWE Championship Match Championship Scramble Match Jeff Hardy retained his WWE Title after 20.00, after last pinning Randy Orton at the 17.30 mark, and then managed to hold on. Jeff had to last the full 20 minutes. Shawn Michaels made his return in this match to a massive pop, costing the Undertaker after hitting a Sweet Chin Music.
Hardy had just retained his WWE Title, worn out after a very hard fought battle and a gruelling 20 minutes, but he was visibly happy. Hardy got on the top rope and help up his title, before out of nowhere, from behind whilst Jeff was on the top rope, CM PUNK CAME AND SMASHED HARDY IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH HIS BRIEFCASE!! Everyone in the crowd was shocked at the Smackdown Superstar hitting Raw’s Champion, as he went to the referee and handed in his briefcase. PUNK WAS CASHING IN MONEY IN THE BANK!
WWE Championship Match Money in the Bank Cash In Punk defeated Hardy in 1. 30, after hitting Jeff with a Tiger Driver 91 (which he calls the Straight Edge), posing to the crowd a bit, before nailing a second. Punk celebrated as the crowd poured in the heat to end the show._________________ Credit for le' sexy siggeh: RTheory/Rock |

| Very nice results, shocked to see CM Punk cash in on Jeff Hardy to win the WWE Championship, good to see Cena win the World Championship, that spot where he FU'ed Kennedy off the ladder sounded epic. Michaels' return sounded sweet too, potentially costing The Undertaker the WWE Championship, so all in all, it looked like a very good show, keep up the good work, man. _________________ |

| Some good things going on here. I like the Money In The Bank cash in, but CM Punk as champion is pretty meh to me. I'd like to see William Regal challenge for the WWE title at one stage, to try and get the epicness that is the UKonnection all titles. The Brian Kendrick and Paul London feud sounds like epicness, I'd like to see a match from there in full, as it would be very very good. I must say I don't like Kennedy in the Main Event scene but then again, it is your BTB and if you can book him well then I am not complaining. Looking good I must say... _________________ the revival is here... |

| Survivor Series Build Up
Monday Night Raw
Hell in a Cell Shawn Michaels vs. the Undertaker Shawn Michaels returned at No Mercy in the WWE Championship Scramble Match with a vengeance, and that was to do what the Undertaker couldn’t do to him; end his career. Shawn came out to a standing ovation in his hometown of Texas one night after No Mercy, as he got ‘Welcome Back’ chants from the very vocal Texas crowd. Shawn claimed that the old dog still had life in him, and after successful back surgery, he was back. He called the Undertaker out, who got a huge negative response in his hometown. The two began bickering, as Shawn then made a proposal for the Undertaker, 11 Years in the Making; the two in a Hell in a Cell match at Survivor Series! Undertaker told Shawn he would have his answer the next week, and during HBK’s non title match against Finlay, Undertaker nailed HBK with a steel chair, and accepted the challenge. The Hell in a Cell came two weeks early as per the Undertaker’s request, as Taker made a speech from inside of the cell, sending a message to Shawn from inside the demonic structure. Six days before the huge match, Undertaker stayed home as Shawn had to face William Regal, but he was successful. Shawn swore that he would end Taker’s career to a positive response from the crowd.
WWE Championship Two Out of Three Falls Match CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy The wrestling world was still buzzing after CM Punk’s cash in of his MITB briefcase against Jeff Hardy at No Mercy, as the NEW WWE Champion opened the show to extreme heat, as he ‘thanked’ the fans for that response. Punk talked about how people may think of him as what they call a ‘paper’ champion, an undeserving champion, but he reminded the fans that he beat six other men to win the briefcase, he thought he had earned it. Jeff Hardy then came out and interrupted Punk, saying that he was a paper champion, he was an undeserving champion, and by the end of that night, he wouldn’t be champion, as he was cashing in his rematch clause. Jeff got the victory but not the championship, as after a great match, Punk hit Jeff with a low blow, resulting in a DQ. To avoid Jeff the next week, Punk made an appearance from WWE Headquarters, saying that he ‘couldn’t’ be there. Jeff made a challenge to Punk for him to defend his title in a Two out of Three Falls match at Survivor Series, which was accepted. The two would then compete in Two out of Three Fall matches over the next two weeks, as Punk defeated CW Champ Paul London and Jeff then defeated The Great Khali the next week.
3 on 3 Elimination Match Randy Orton, MVP and Chavo Guerrero vs. Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio and John Morrison The Two Man Dynasty were pissed off at the result of the Championship Scramble Match and the aftermath with Punk winning the title, and they took out their frustrations on Rey Mysterio, as MVP had a match with him the next night on Raw. Rey’s buddies Y2J and John Morrison came to his aid, but were met with steel chair shots from Randy and Porter. They went on to say that the three weren’t worthy of a spot on their show, or even in their company, as Y2J and Co. then interrupted them, saying that the two should shut their mouths, as it wasn’t their company, it never was and it never would be, as they were looking at the past, present and future of the WWE. Jericho was then challenged by Orton to a 3 on 3 Classical Survivor Series Elimination Match, as Jericho accepted, as he noted that there were only two men in the ring. Orton said that he knew that there was only the two, and that between then and Survivor Series, he would announce the third man. After John Morrison got an upset over Orton, he was attacked by Chavo Guerrero, as he noted his and Rey’s past history, as he declared himself as the third man. Chavo faced Y2J the next week in a Steel Cage match to prevent interference, which was won by Jericho after a Codebreaker.
3 on 3 Elimination Match The Puerto Rican Nightmares vs. Monty Brown, Elijah Burke and Santino Marella One week and a night after No Mercy, Elijah Burke returned to what was his first singles match in a long time, facing Eric Perez, then one half of the Puerto Rican Nightmares. Perez won the match after a surprise roll up, keeping their undefeated streak alive. Santino and Carlito came charging down after the match had finished, and with shades of 24 hours earlier, Elijah and Cantino assaulted the Puerto Rican Nightmares, but for some reason, whilst doing this, Carlito stopped. Santino and Burke questioned what he was doing; as he went on to lay both of them out with Back Stabbers! Carlito completed his face turn the next week, saying that he couldn’t hurt his little brother, and that he was now part of the Puerto Rican Nightmares! Burke and Santino were very pissed off, as Burke went on to say that he could play games as well, and he would reveal his master plan the next week. After a singles match between former partners Carlito and Santino which Carlito won, he was attacked by a man who turned out to be none other than the Alpha Male Monty Brown! Burke announced that he had gone to Shane O Mac, and that the Elimination match was on for Survivor Series.
Friday Night Smackdown
World Heavyweight Championship John Cena vs. Mr. Kennedy The John Cena/ Ken Kennedy feud, which had been going on since before Summerslam, began to really heat up once again after Cena cut Kennedy’s reign short at No Mercy in the Ladder Match. Cena was in the main event of the next Smackdown with a match against Shelton Benjamin, and after a very entertaining match, Cena picked up the victory with an FU. After the match, Cena cut a promo on Kennedy, but before he could say a word, Kennedy came out from the crowd, turned Cena around and hit him with a Mic Check. Kennedy then said whether Cena liked it or not, he was cashing in his rematch clause for the World Title at Survivor Series. Kennedy then had a match the next week and defeated Umaga, as Cena came out and the two cut a promo with a war of words. Cena teamed up with the WWE Tag Team Champions Reformed Cabinet to face Mr. Kennedy and the Mexicools (more on them later), as the champions won the match after an FU to Super Crazy. 2 days before the huge match, the two would pick each other’s poison, as Cena defeated Bryan Danielson and Kennedy defeated Justin LaRouche and Rycklon Stephens in a handicap match (after some interference from Jesse and Festus).
WWE Tag Team Championships The Reformed Cabinet vs. the Mexicools After retaining their WWE Tag Team Championships at No Mercy against the World’s Greatest Tag Team, the Reformed Cabinet claimed that there was no one that could take their Tag Titles off of them, even though they had only defended them once. Super Crazy then came out and spoke in Mexican, before shocking everyone by translating into English, saying he had found a partner, and they could beat them in a Tag Team Title Match. Without even revealing who it was, JBL and the Big Show pondered who it could be, as they came out the next week and successfully defended their titles against Jesse and Festus. As they beat down on the Daltons, ‘We’re not Mexican, We’re Mexicool’ hit to a huge response, as Super Crazy and Psicosis made their return! The high flying duo laid the much larger tandem out with their high flying acrobatics. The Mexicools then teamed up with Mr. Kennedy to face the Reformed Cabinet and John Cena, but their returns were unsuccessful, as the World Champion nailed Crazy with an FU for the victory. The match was official for Survivor Series as announced on wwe.com, and the next week, Psicosis won his first singles match back against JBL after a Top Rope Leg Drop, but the Reformed Cabinet decimated their much shorter rivals after the match.
Last Man Standing Match Triple H vs. Batista After Batista’s victory in the No Holds Barred match, their series was tied at 1 a piece, and both men wanted to one up the other, so they surprisingly agreed on having a rubber match. Teddy Long added the match to Survivor Series as soon as he heard the proposition in an attempt to beat Raw, but he said that a stipulation would be determined the next week, as the two would compete in matches and whoever got the quickest time would pick the stipulation. Batista faced Umaga and defeated him in an impressive time of 7.48, but HHH would end up picking the stipulation after winning in a controversial 7.47 against Snitsky. HHH said that he would keep Batista waiting and announce the stipulation the next week on Smackdown, as HHH played mind games with Batista. HHH then announced the next week that the stipulation was one of the most brutal and would make it go down to who really was the better man, as he made the match a Last Man Standing Match! Batista surprisingly smirked at the stipulation, and with 48 hours to go before Survivor Series, Batista defeated Smackdown’s Resident Redneck (or should that read Jobber) Jimmy Wang Yang in a Last Man Standing match after a Batista Bomb through a table.
3 on 3 Elimination Match Ken Doane, Rycklon Stephens and Justin LaRouche vs. Gregory Helms, Jesse and Festus Gregory Helms turned face on an edition of Smackdown, interrupting a Ken Doane victory celebration on the first Smackdown after No Mercy. Helms said he was sick and tired of Doane calling himself ‘Simply Sensational’ and a Natural Born Talent, hyping himself up by running his mouth. Helms exclaimed that he was coming for Doane’s US Title, and he would get it very soon. As Helms turned his back, Doane and his bodyguards Rycklon and Stephens attacked Gregory, as Doane finished Helms off with an RK- Doane. The next week, Helms charged into Teddy Long’s office, saying that he wanted a piece of Doane, whether it is for the title or not. Teddy told him that he had just signed another match for the Smackdown side of Survivor Series, with Helms and two partners of his choosing against Doane and his bodyguards. With nine days before Survivor Series, after Doane successfully defended his US Title against Trevor Murdoch, Helms came out, but wasn’t alone, as he came out with Jesse and Festus! The three cleared house of Doane and Co., as Helms announced that he had found his partners. Doane and Helms had a match the next week for the US Title, a match which Doane won. Jesse and Festus then cost Rycklon and Stephens a match against Ken Kennedy, much to the delight of the fans.
Inter Promotional Matches
Brand Supremacy The UKonnection vs. the WGGT, Matt Hardy and Bryan Danielson In what was coming seemingly an annual thing, Teddy Long appeared on Raw, as he approached Raw GM Shane McMahon about a proposition for Survivor Series, and that proposition was a Brand Supremacy match at Survivor Series. McMahon accepted the proposal, as he went off looking for the 4 candidates that would represent Raw. The next week on Raw, Shane announced that he had looked very carefully at the Raw roster, and said he was looking for a team that could work as a unit, and announced that Raw’s representatives were the UKonnection. Teddy Long had qualifying matches instead on the next Smackdown, and after 3 matches (one was a tag match), the Smackdown team turned out to be the WGGT, Matt Hardy and his good friend Bryan Danielson. Teddy Long and Shane O Mac agreed to the stipulation that the 8 members could openly cross between the brands, as all 8 men had various matches over both Raw and Smackdown, with an even amount of victories for both brands, as a rubber match took place on the last Smackdown, which was a Lumberjack Match between Bryan Danielson and William Regal with the 6 other competitors as lumberjacks. This match saw Danielson come out the victor and give Smackdown the advantage.
Survivor Series Results WWE Tag Team Championships The Mexicools defeated The Reformed Cabinet to win the WWE Tag Team Titles for the first ever time. The fall came at 12.30 when Crazy pinned JBL after a Moonsault/ Leg Drop combination by both of the Mexicools.
3 on 3 Elimination Match Randy Orton, MVP and Chavo Guerrero defeat Chris Jericho, John Morrison and Rey Mysterio in a 3 on 3 Elimination match. The last fall came at 17.45 when Randy last pinned Y2J after an RKO.

| No Way Out Build Up
Monday Night Raw
WWE Championship Elimination Chamber CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Paul Burchill vs. Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Kane CM Punk came out the night after SS and proclaimed himself as unstoppable, as he had managed to defeat Jeff Hardy in the 2 out of 3 Falls Match. This caused Shane O Mac to come out and say that the next PPV was No Way Out, where the two main events were Elimination Chambers for the respective main event titles. McMahon went on to say that there was heaps of men in the back who wanted a shot at Punk, so starting from tonight and going through to next week, qualifying matches would take place. Paul Burchill won a match containing the other three UKonnection guys after what was surprisingly a competitive match, HBK defeated MVP, Orton defeated Chris Jericho, Kane defeated The Brian Kendrick and former champ Jeff Hardy won a Battle Royal (against various other Raw Superstars. He last eliminated the Cruiserweight Champion Paul London) to all qualify for the Elimination Chamber. Over the last two weeks, all 6 men competed in various matches, all getting a victory over one another. Shawn was the last man standing after a huge brawl occurred on the last Raw, as he posed with the WWE Title, which after Sunday, he may hold in another title reign of his already storied career.
World Tag Team Championships Fatal Four Way Tag Team Match The UKonnection (Regal and Smith) vs. Puerto Rican Nightmares (Primo and Perez) vs. Elijah Burke and Monty Brown vs. Cryme Tyme In a Triple Threat Tag Team qualifying match 8 nights after Survivor Series, the Puerto Rican Nightmares looked to defeat Cryme Tyme and their rivals Burke and Brown, until the UKonnection came running down to the ring and attacked the young duo. The referee called for the bell, as the UKonnection all three teams. Shane O Mac came charging out onto the ramp, and announced if UKonnection wanted some competition, they had found it, as at the next Pay Per View No Way Out, it would be the UKonnection vs. the Puerto Rican Nightmares vs. Burke and Brown vs. Cryme Tyme in a Fatal Four Way First Fall to a Finish Tag Team Title Match! The UKonnection were pissed off, and it was announced the next week that the competing members would be William Regal and DH Smith, as Burchill was in the EC and Finlay had his own match. The Puerto Rican Nightmares also announced that the original pair of Primo and Perez would compete. In a Fatal 4 Way match the next week, Primo Colon pinned DH Smith after a Frog Splash, getting the Puerto Rican Nightmares the ever important victory.
Intercontinental Championship Finlay vs. Chris Jericho Chris Jericho continued chasing the Fighting Irishman Finlay’s Intercontinental Championship, but was constantly being screwed out of the title which he has won so many times. During Jericho’s Elimination Chamber qualifier against Randy Orton 1 night after Survivor Series, Finlay came out and nailed Jericho in the back with his IC Title as he was coming off the ropes, costing Jericho the match. The next week, Jericho defeated Finlay’s UKonnection colleague DH Smith in a Number 1 Contender’s match to have the right to face Finlay at No Way Out for his Intercontinental Championship. Finlay and Chris Jericho were then involved in a singles matches against an opponent of the other’s choosing (in other words Pick Your Poison), as Finlay picked The Great Khali for Jericho, and Jericho picked Finlay’s friend DH Smith to be his own opponent, trying to make the UKonnection disintegrate! Both men won their respective matches, although it was under dubious circumstances for Finlay and much to the disappointment of Jericho, as Smith simply lay down for Finlay so he could get the pin, and Jericho had to put in the hard yards against the 7 foot 3 colossus! The next week, they were shown brawling in the back, as they were eager to get each other before NWO, and had to be restrained by security.
Friday Night Smackdown
World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber John Cena vs. Mr. Kennedy vs. JBL vs. the Big Show vs. Batista vs. US Champ Ken Doane Teddy Long said that Smackdown already had their main event covered for No Way Out as the Elimination Chamber was set, but it was just a matter of who the challengers would be for John Cena’s title. Like Raw, the qualifying matches would spread over two weeks of programming. Surprisingly, the first man to enter the Chamber was none other than US Champ Ken Doane, after he defeated Charlie Haas in a qualifying match. After the match, Doane said that he was looking for more gold and looked to add it at No Way Out. The Reformed Cabinet defeated the team of Matt Hardy and Bryan Danielson to both qualify, as a recently turned face Batista and former champion Mr. Kennedy also qualified in their respective matches against Kofi Kingston and Edge. Batista turned face as all of the heels in the EC were beating down on Kennedy, as Batista came charging out, seemingly to attack Kennedy, but instead, he hit Cena with a Spear and then cleaned house. With 9 days left before NWO, Batista and Kennedy defeated JBL and the Big Show in a tag team match, as Cena and Doane had a Champion vs. Champion match the next week (48 hours before NWO), which went to a no contest after the other 4 men interrupted proceedings. Doane waited for all of them to get pummelled as he picked up the scraps by attacking the last man standing, Mr. Kennedy, giving Doane the advantage.
Grudge Match Matt Hardy vs. Bryan Danielson Matt Hardy and the American Dragon Bryan Danielson formed a tag team after Danielson and Punk’s fallout, even teaming together to represent Smackdown in the Brand Supremacy match. The two would team up to face the Reformer Cabinet in a Tag Team EC Qualifying Match, but just when it looked like Matt would pick up the victory for his team, Danielson went into the ring and nailed Hardy with a Dragon Suplex! The crowd was shocked at Danielson’s turn, as he held onto the Full Nelson, before hitting Hardy with a further two Dragon Suplexes! Danielson explained that he had done so much in his short tenure in the WWE, but washed up ‘veterans’ like Matt Hardy were stealing his spotlight. He then challenged Matt to a singles match for No Way Out, which was accepted immediately by Matt, who then charged to the ring. Danielson would team up with the Rated R Superstars the next week to face Matt Hardy and the World’s Greatest Tag Team, as Matt and WGGT picked up the win after a Twist of Fate from Matt to Curt Hawkins got the three count for the victory. With two days left before NWO, Matt Hardy defeated the ‘Samoan Bulldozer’ Umaga, but after the match, he was attacked by Danielson, who hit Matt with a Dragon Suplex.
Grudge Match Edge vs. Triple H An Edge and Triple one on one match was imminent after Edge’s return and consequent attack on Triple H during his Last Man Standing match against Batista, which ended up costing HHH the match. Edge had his return match on the Smackdown after SS, losing to former rival Mr. Kennedy after interference from HHH. Triple H had come out with a bandage on his forehead, and cost Edge the match after hitting him with a Pedigree. HHH looked to continue his assault on Edge, only to be hit with a low blow as Edge then fled the ring, as the ‘Cerebral Assassin’ invited Edge back into the ring. As Triple H cut a promo on Edge the next week, the ‘Rated R Superstar’ attacked Triple H from behind, before nailing him with a Spear, as he then delivered rights and lefts to the skull of HHH. Edge then brought in his trusty steel chairs, as he placed a steel chair under the head of HHH, before getting the other one and nailing HHH with a con chair to! Edge then repeated this action 4 times, as he raised the dinted chair to extreme heat from the crowd. HHH was kept home the next week, as Teddy Long announced that Edge and Triple H would go head to head at No Way Out in a singles match. Edge squashed former Tag Team Champion Hardcore Holly 2 days before No Way Out in literally just over a minute after hitting Holly with a Spear. When he looked to hit Holly with a con chair to, HHH came out with his trusty sledgehammer, nailing Edge in the ribs, before hitting him with a Pedigree.
No Way Out Results
World Tag Team Championships Fatal Four Way Tag Team Match First Fall to a Finish The UKonnection defeated the Puerto Rican Nightmares, Cryme Tyme and Burke/Brown after 15.30 when DH Smith nailed JTG of Cryme Tyme with a deadly Running Powerslam/ Brainbuster combination.
Grudge Match Bryan Danielson defeated Matt Hardy in 17.20 after he hit Hardy with a Dragon Sleeper. He then locked in the Cattle Mutilation, as the referee declared Danielson the winner after Hardy was out cold.
Intercontinental Championship Chris Jericho defeated Finlay by DQ in 12.15 after Finlay nailed Jericho with a low blow and then a shillelagh shot to the skull right in front of the referee’s eyes.
Grudge Match Edge and Triple H went to a draw in their match after 15.00 when Edge brought in a steel chair. HHH rolled out of the ring and grabbed a sledgehammer, as he smashed the chair into Edge’s face. The match was declared a draw as Edge introduced the chair in the first place.
